About the Role

As a Context Engineer at CapIntel, you'll sit at the intersection of AI infrastructure and engineering. You will be responsible for how large language models are integrated into our core platform and how our engineering team adopts agentic workflows. This is a hands-on, production-focused role, not a research one. What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years working with LLMs in a production context
• Strong experience with Python or Node and building API-integrated backend services
• Hands-on experience with an orchestration or execution framework
• Working knowledge of RAG architecture, vector databases (e.g. Pinecone, pgVector, AWS OpenSearch), and semantic search

Our Consulting Services Organization works with our clients to help solve complex problems by delivering custom IT solutions and specialized services. We focus on providing mission-critical services to help our clients maximize the performance, availability, and security of their complex IT environments. We pride ourselves on being THE Oracle experts and our solutions include database, cloud, EBS, engineered systems, as well as license optimization.

• Managed Services Database and Cloud Administrator 

• Senior Database Administrator

About You: 

• Located anywhere in Canada. 

• Fluently bilingual in French and English, able to confidently articulate technical and business concepts in both languages to a variety of audiences – written and verbal.  

• An Oracle database expert – experience in RAC, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and other Oracle Advanced Features. Experience with Oracle Cloud is ideal.  

• Customer savvy – you enjoy building on existing long-term, trusted relationships.
