About this Role

Senior AEs at Cloudflare sell into the most innovative companies in North America. In targeting high-growth, technologically advanced, and venture-backed companies, AEs are positioned to drive in-depth product discussions while communicating and demonstrating value quickly to customers.  This role within teh Territory focuses on both the acquisition of prospective Mid Market accounts, as well as the expansion of existing customer accounts.  The ideal candidate will have both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive customer engagement from technical professionals through to senior executive levels, and across Security, Network, Development and Infrastructure teams.  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain your territory plan to exceed quarterly sales targets and annual quota assignment.
• Be an expert in three unique sales motions; new business acquisition (new customer logos), customer expansion (upsell and cross sell Cloudflare solutions), and renewal within your territory.
• Build a robust sales pipeline utilizing the four sourcing funnels: AE led outbound, BDR, Channel, and Marketing Inbound.
• Develop and strategically leverage a deep technical understanding of the problems Cloudflare solves in order to drive a consultative sales motion.
• Craft and communicate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services. Drive awareness through regular outbound campaigns on product and feature roadmap updates. 
• Accurately forecast, build commercial outcomes by running a consistent sales process, including driving next step expectations and contract negotiations.
• As a trusted advisor, build long-term strategic relationships with key accounts, to ensure customer adoption, retention and expansion. Regularly evaluate usage trends and articulate value to show Cloudflare impact and provide strategic recommendations during business reviews. 
• Network across different business units with each of your accounts, and multi-thread to identify and engage new divisional buyers.
• Position Cloudflare's platform in each of your target customers, including Cloudflare One and the Connectivity Cloud to realize our full potential in every customer.
• Operate internally as a liaison with cross-functional teams to share key customer feedback and insights to improve customer experience and further investments with Cloudflare.

Requirements:

• 5+ years sales experience selling B2B SaaS 
• Strong B2B discovery skills

• Track record of beating annual targets of $1M+ and successfully managing complex six figure deals

As Product Line Specialist Cloud Account Executive, you will have ownership of all elements of bookings growth in new and existing accounts across the Northeast. • Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities

The CRM Marketing Analyst will drive performance across CLEAR’s lifecycle marketing channels by translating data into actionable insights and optimizing campaigns that deepen member engagement and retention. • Analyze CRM campaign performance across email, push, SMS, and in-app channels to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization

The Senior Director of Developer Product Marketing is the strategic lead for how Cloudflare’s developer platform is perceived and adopted in the global market. • Deep expertise in causal inference, experimentation, and machine learning models. You are the person others come to when the measurement problem is hard.

CLEAR is seeking a Vice President of Communications to join its Corporate Affairs team. This role will shape and lead CLEAR’s communications strategy across public policy, government affairs, and corporate communications, advancing the company’s priorities, protecting its reputation, and positioning CLEAR as a trusted voice with policymakers, media, and key stakeholders.

Reporting to the EVP, Corporate Affairs, the VP of Communications will serve as an advisor to executive leadership and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, high-impact communications in a dynamic and highly visible environment.

What you'll do:

• Set and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with CLEAR’s business objectives, public affairs and policy priorities, and long-term growth
• Oversee external communications including press releases, op-eds, executive communications, and briefings, developing compelling narratives and messaging that resonate with policymakers, regulators, media, partners, and consumers
• Drive proactive media engagement, pitch original story ideas, and position CLEAR’s leaders as thought leaders with key audiences
• Lead communications strategy during issues management and crisis situations, ensuring clarity, consistency, and credibility
• Translate complex policy, data, and industry insights into clear, persuasive communications for internal and external use
• Act as a central hub of knowledge within Corporate Affairs, connecting policy insights, communications strategy, and business objectives
• Collaborate closely with Public Affairs, Legal, Product, Marketing, and other teams to ensure coordinated and effective communications
• Build and sustain strong relationships with top-tier business, technology, and media

What you're great at:

• 12+ years of communications experience with demonstrated success leading at the executive level
• Proven ability to design and execute a sophisticated communications strategy in complex, regulated, or high-profile environments
• Established relationships with business, technology, and/or media
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience advising senior executives and shaping leadership messaging
• Strong judgment, sound instincts, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure
• Strategic, creative, and outcomes-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving organization

The total compensation range for this role is $350,000.00 - $475,000.00, depending on levels of skills and experience.

This range represents the combined base salary, annual bonus incentive, and new hire equity package (in Restricted Stock Units) for this position at CLEAR. Additionally, this role will be eligible for refresh equity grants as part of our ongoing compensation program. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience, and performance. All stock based compensation will be subject to the terms and conditions of applicable agreements.
