Senior Manager, Government & Industry Affairs Operations

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Government & Industry Affairs team in the United States and are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Government & Industry Affairs Operations to join the team.
This is a newly created role that will play an important part in helping VGW coordinate and execute its government affairs activity across the US. You will be responsible for bringing structure, discipline, and clear operating rhythm to a complex, multi state lobbying network, ensuring our external partners are well coordinated, accountable, and aligned to business priorities.
You will work closely with Government Affairs, Legal, Marketing, and external lobbying partners to ensure activity is well planned, compliant, and clearly tracked.
We’re open to candidates based anywhere in the US, and this role can be performed remotely. We do not currently have a US office, but occasional in person office attendance may be required if that changes in future.
The salary range for this role is USD $200,000 - $230,000 per year.

Mission Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager the Strategic Partner Lead, Customer Success will be responsible for identifying, building, and nurturing strategic partnerships that drive growth and expand opportunities with key commercial partners.
This is a pivotal time to join Motional. We are transitioning from development to deployment, launching our commercial driverless service in Las Vegas in 2026. In collaboration with a major ride-hail partner, we are setting the stage to scale this technology to dozens of cities across the U.S. and internationally. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in forging successful alliances, negotiating complex agreements, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. You will serve as the "Voice of the Customer," owning the relationship at all levels of the organization, playing a critical role in shaping our commercial strategy and achieving our long-term objectives, ensuring our commercial operations translate into scalable, revenue-generating reality.
This role will be expected to travel up to 40% of the time depending on the business purpose and partnership deliverables.

Role Description
As a Technical Operations Manager, OSP Construction, you will work on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with a cross-functional team to plan, execute, and deliver projects, and deploy new technologies to the local Phoenix market and surrounding communities. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations, milestone/mitigation tracking, and completion of projects related to the construction of our outside plant (OSP) fiber to the home (FTTH) network. You will be responsible for everything that happens downstream of Engineering/Permitting including pre-construction planning (including working with City Engineers), construction execution/sequencing, and splicing/testing for project turnover and acceptance to downstream stakeholders
