Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
· Extensive travel required. (Local, National, International)
· Promotes and adheres to the ATS safety culture.
· Engages in various work environments and industries to lead reliability centered maintenance efforts.
· Mentors, coaches, and provides reliability best practices for applications in customer facilities, by customer personnel
· Identifies top potential issues leading to lost production and preventable maintenance spending. Communicates findings with leadership.

· Identifies and implements current and new processes / technologies to increase equipment performance and uptime
· Champions systems and best practice procedures towards a proactive manufacturing culture.
· Analyzes equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniques.
· Provides technical service to operations and manufacturing personnel on equipment related troubleshooting efforts.
· Utilizes predictive, preventative, and precision maintenance technologies and strategies designed to identify or control risks prior to failure and ensure optimum maintenance execution.
· Collaborates with the maintenance team to prioritize assets and actions by determining failure probabilities and evaluating the risk of compliance, supply, strategy, and cost.
· Provides training and coaching in Root Cause and Reliability Analysis and takes ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause Analysis projects are documented.
· Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and ATS policies and procedures.

Design and develop aircraft exterior lighting systems, including:
Navigation (position) lights
Anti-collision lighting
Landing and taxi lights
Recognition and logo lighting
Perform and document engineering analyses, including:
Electrical load and power consumption assessments
Thermal performance and heat dissipation analysis
Environmental durability (vibration, temperature extremes, moisture exposure)
Support system integration activities and ensure compatibility with aircraft electrical and structural systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and certification engineering

Support testing and qualification activities, including environmental and EMI/EMC validation

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Experience working in integrated test environments (iron bird, SIL/HIL systems)
Knowledge of requirements management and traceability tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Polarion)

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Utilities Engineer to act as the site’s Owner’s Engineer
for ongoing capital projects in a GMP manufacturing environment. This role involves highpower, industrial electrical activities on utilities and building infrastructure.
You will act as a technical back-checker engineering contractors, validating that designs, specifications, and installations are compliant with NEC, North Carolina codes, and the
company safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Review and approve single-line diagrams, load studies, and power distribution designs
• Validate switchgear, MCCs, transformers, breakers, cabling, grounding
• Verify motor sizing and protection (ex: 200 HP motors, VFDs, starters)
• Ensure compliance with:
o NEC
o State of North Carolina electrical codes
o GMP / EHS standards
• Act as technical lead for engineering firms
• Identify design gaps, safety risks, and non-compliances
• Support construction reviews, redlines, FAT/SAT
• Be the electrical owner rep for capital and brownfield projects
Requirements:
• 10+ years experience in industrial / utilities electrical engineering
• Strong background in:
o Power distribution
o High-voltage and high-power systems
o Industrial motors and drives
• Experience acting as Owner’s Engineer
• Strong NEC knowledge
• Experience in pharma, biotech, life sciences, or GMP manufacturing environments
• Experience managing EPCs, contractors, inspectors, AHJs
• Comfortable walking down sites and reviewing as-built installations
Nice to have:
• Pharma manufacturing or clean utility systems
• Brownfield capital projects
• Experience in regulated environments (FDA, GMP, EHS)
• Multi-discipline project exposure (HVAC, piping interfaces)
Salary Range: $100,000-140,000

We are seeking a Mid-Level Avionic Software Engineer with hands-on experience developing safety-critical aerospace software in accordance with DO-178 standards, typically at Design Assurance Level (DAL) A or B. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience and is comfortable contributing across the software lifecycle, from requirements and implementation to integration and verification, within a highly regulated engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and verification of embedded avionic software in compliance with DO-178C (DAL A or B).
Implement and optimize software components and algorithms for constrained, real-time embedded environments.
Support system integration activities by collaborating with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams.
Participate in defining software architecture and interface requirements, ensuring traceability and adherence to aerospace standards.
Perform and participate in formal design and code reviews to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Assist with hardware bring-up, low-level debugging, and troubleshooting using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Work with embedded communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553) to ensure reliable system interactions.
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
5–8 years of experience in embedded software development within aerospace or other safety-critical industries.
Direct experience working with DO-178C development, verification, and certification processes (DAL A or B strongly preferred).
Proficiency in C and/or C++, with familiarity in Python or other scripting languages for test or automation tasks.
Solid understanding of embedded systems design, RTOS concepts, timing constraints, and low-level hardware interfaces.
