• MS or higher in Robotics, Computer Vision, or related engineering fields

• Solid understanding of perception algorithms terrain classification, obstacle detection, segmentation and traversability estimation in dynamic outdoor environments
• Strong experience in developing and deploying machine learning–based perception systems for robotics in real-world, unstructured environments

About the role
We are looking for a mid–senior Deployment Engineer to take robotic systems from development to production and keep them running reliably in the real world. 

This role sits at the intersection of: 

• robotics systems (ROS-based)  

• software delivery (CI/CD, containers, releases)  

• real-world deployment constraints (networks, hardware, field debugging)  

You will own how software moves from code → robot → fleet, and how issues are detected, diagnosed, and resolved. 

This is not a traditional DevOps or field role. 
We are looking for someone who can build systems, not just operate them, and who can quickly create MVPs to validate ideas.

What you’ll bring:

About the Role

• Negotiate system requirements with our customer, derive high-level software requirements, and validate high-level software requirements in close collaboration with our software leads

As a Senior Systems Operations Engineer at Spire, you will be responsible for ensuring that on-orbit mission operations meet and sustain technical and service-level objectives. You will serve as the technical link between the development and operations phases of the mission lifecycle, ensuring that the constellation behaves as expected and that any deviations are rapidly understood, assessed, and resolved with sound engineering judgment.  

This role is central to Spire’s strategy to deliver scalable, reliable, and technically assured services using model-based engineering and validated asset profiles. Your work will ensure that decisions affecting constellation performance are made with technical insight.  

Role Responsibilities:  

• Own the technical quality of mission operations during the on-orbit service period, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are well defined, monitored, and maintained. 
• Assess and design strategies to address underperformance, providing detailed technical insight and coordinating resolution strategies in collaboration with Systems Engineering, Mission Design, and SRE. 
• Define and manage the high-level structure and performance requirements of asset profiles, ensuring they accurately represent mission needs and provide a clear basis for verification. Work with System Owners and SMEs to ensure subsystem capabilities are properly characterised, and with SREs to ensure ongoing validation of in-orbit performance. 
• Bridge the gap between Systems Engineering, Mission Design, Program Management, Customer Service, and SRE by providing technical leadership during the mission service period. Define the tooling and functional monitoring needs that enable the SRE team to maintain constellation health and respond effectively to deviations. 
• Support SRE, Platform, and Customer Service leads in triaging constellation or satellite issues that deviate from nominal asset profile definitions, ensuring escalation paths and responses are technically justified. 
• Act as a technical reviewer and contributor during Mission Readiness Review (MRR) and pre-launch handover, ensuring operational teams are equipped with validated, well-understood assets and clearly defined expectations for mission performance. 
• Identify operational risks and propose mitigations related to in-orbit performance, platform limitations, or evolving CONOPS. 
• Ensure technical consistency and justification for on-orbit changes such as mode transitions, re-tasking, or adjustments to duty cycles or resource allocations. Lead the rollout of complex fleet-wide changes when CONOPS are being updated, ensuring risks and dependencies are managed. 
• Collaborate across SRE, Platform, and Systems teams to codify lessons learned into reusable operational standards, documentation, and improved design practices for future missions. 
• Derive and maintain Operational Requirements by helping project teams translate mission and system-level requirements into operational-level non-functional requirements (SLOs, latency, freshness, availability), with verification methods and traceability. 
• Support configuration control during service, helping manage the versioned operational baseline (limits, parameters, tasking configurations) and working with SREs, System Owners, and Customer Service to prevent configuration drift across the fleet. 
• Support the definition and coverage of FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery) logic, ensuring coverage against top failure modes and reducing residual operational risk over time. 

Basic Qualifications:  

• BSc in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant technical discipline. 
• 3+ years of experience in system performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and anomaly resolution. 
• Solid understanding of space system behaviour on orbit, including thermal dynamics, power management, RF communications, and tasking impacts. 
• Ability to translate system-level engineering context into clear operational guidance and tooling requirements. 
• Familiarity with SLA-driven architectures, system observability, and mission assurance principles.

As a Senior Experimental Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in translating scientific objectives into practical, high quality experimental hardware, diagnostics and workflows. Our perception technology, in particular pose estimation, is a key differentiator of the Intrinsic platform and enables our users to build flexible automation solutions. The role

You’ll build the autonomy brain for a cutting-edge autonomous aerial platform that will actually take flight. At Helsing, you won't just be developing software; you'll be integrating state-of-the-art reinforcement learning agents into the operational systems of our own Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV), the CA-1 Europa, part of the groundbreaking Centaur project. This is a unique opportunity to directly contribute to a novel autonomous system designed from the ground up.

Working at the intersection of machine learning and systems engineering, you'll integrate reinforcement learning agents into high-performance runtime systems, enabling real-time autonomous decision-making in flight. This isn't theoretical; your code will enable the CA-1 Europa to perceive, reason, and act autonomously in the most demanding environments.

What we build ultimately ends up in the hands of real people in high-risk, high-stress situations, so it must be both reliable and frictionless. To give some examples:

• Autonomous Decision-Making Systems — reliable pipelines from sensor data to RL inference to tactical execution, including edge-case and failure-mode handling.

• Reinforcement Learning Integration — bridging Python-based RL agents with Rust runtime systems for low-latency, reproducible inference.

• Distributed Systems & Communications — handling intermittent connectivity and bespoke hardware protocols.

• Training Infrastructure — distributed training, evaluation pipelines, and large-scale runs on custom simulators.

In some areas, we're working at the state-of-the-art—actively implementing research papers and pushing further. In others, we're applying proven techniques to real-world situations they've never encountered before. Both require skill, diligence, and deep technical understanding.

Our software operates under significant constraints, in constantly-changing environments, for users in high-risk situations. It must be reliable and frictionless. That's what makes this work hard—and worth doing.

The day-to-day

• Maintain our existing software stack, including working with internal and external customers to identify issues, improving operational reliability and performance, and fending off technical debt. The stack is a mix of Rust and Python, with Python mainly living in the ML-heavy sections.

• Further develop our tests and benchmarks, both at the micro and macro level, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations and flight testing. We operate in a domain where robustness is of the utmost importance, and an extensive and ever-improving test suite is key to achieving that. And without thorough benchmarks, we would be flying blind.

• Review code contributions, proposals, and RFCs from colleagues, ensuring robustness and adherence to safety and performance standards critical for airborne applications. At Helsing we strongly believe that unblocking others takes precedence over spending more time on your own work.

• Propose and implement new features, capabilities, algorithms, infrastructure, or even full products across our stack, with a focus on refining the capabilities and reliability of our airborne mission systems. We encourage our engineers to look beyond their immediate team for missed opportunities, and to speak up when they identify one.

• Become a mentor, find a mentee, and help support and develop our interviewing pipeline. The people make or break the company, and we want as many engineers as possible to be part of fostering and growing the organisation.

• Own the user interface end-to-end, from early wireframes and prototypes through to performant, production-ready code. • Establish and evolve our React component library, ensuring consistency, reusability, and alignment with our visual design standards across multiple front-ends.

The day-to-day

• Review code contributions, proposals, and RFCs from colleagues. At Helsing we strongly believe that unblocking others takes precedence over spending more time on your own work.

• Propose and implement new features, capabilities, algorithms, infrastructure, or even full products across our stack. We encourage our engineers to look beyond their immediate team for missed opportunities, and to speak up when they identify one.

• Become a mentor, find a mentee, and help support and develop our interviewing pipeline. The people make or break the company, and we want as many engineers as possible to be part of fostering and growing the organisation.

• Share your experience and technical know-how with other Helsingers. We host tech talks, get together for smaller “let’s learn together” groups, run topical office hours (e.g., on Rust), etc. to help each other get better with time.

• Maintain our existing software stack, including working with internal and external customers to identify issues, improving operational reliability and performance, and fending off technical debt. The stack is a mix of Rust and Python, with Python mainly living in the ML-heavy sections.

• Further develop our tests and benchmarks, both at the micro and macro level. We operate in a domain where robustness is of the utmost importance, and an extensive and ever-improving test suite is key to achieving that. And without thorough benchmarks, we would be flying blind.

• Present your work at our weekly demo sessions. We want engineers to come together around what they are working on and to feel like they are not endlessly squirrelling away at something that doesn’t matter. To that end, we host (and actively work towards) demo sessions that allow early feedback, celebration of progress, and a better shared understanding of everything that goes on at Helsing.

As an Auth0 Solutions Engineer you have a background in Development and are passionate about Customer Identity. What We Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, for example, Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating deep technical understanding. An MBA is a strong plus.
• 5+ years of experience in technical marketing, technical support, and customer engagement within the semiconductor industry.
• Good understanding of chiplet or SoC architecture, silicon design flows, and system level tradeoffs.
• Experience with HDLs (Verilog/VHDL), industry standard ASIC SoC design tools and flows, familiarity with chip packaging technologies, and chiplets is a plus
• Familiarity with the semiconductor industry, including industry standards bodies, for example, PCI SIG or CXL Consortium, or interconnect protocols, for example, UCIe or AMBA. Experience working with open source hardware projects is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.

As part of Tenstorrent’s Automotive Robotics team, you will help define and develop silicon hardware for mobility and robotics solutions. You will work with architects and hardware designers to make the right tradeoffs between performance, safety, and cost. You will lead the creation of safety work products and drive safety analysis across a range of hardware modules.
