This role is the primary resource for operational functions associated with driving revenue and forecasting for assigned retail accounts. Key functions will include demand planning, inventory management, purchase order execution, POS & trend analysis, and daily monitoring of overall business trends and operational performance. This position plays a significant role in monitoring real-time business issues, interpreting data and suggesting immediate action plans to address issues or take advantage of opportunities. The role will work with Shark/Ninja internal cross functional resources to ensure business issues are communicated and acted upon in a timely manner as well as with direct account contacts. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Become a leading resource on customer specific needs and requirements while providing timely communication to both the account and company ensuring you meet the needs and requirements of both.
• Quickly develop a working knowledge of the kitchen and floor care business from both a product and consumer basis for our product and our competitions
• Partner with cross functional internal Best Buy team to coordinate and build customer presentations, monthly business reviews, weekly flash reports, and monthly consensus deck.

• Maximize customer orders and fill rate while partnering with our internal Operations team.
• Input the forecast in SFO and update Data Governance new additions and updated price lists to SFO.
• Input confirmed promotional plans into forecasting system and partner with team on spend management tactics.
• Lead weekly meetings with customers’ replenishment/planning teams to review recent results and confirm changes that have affected the sales positively and negatively. 

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. (Concentration in Business preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in demand planning/supply chain management/forecasting or business analytics role within the consumer products industry.
• Ability to draw insights across multiple complex data sets and incorporate into decision making.
• Past operational or sales experience with Best Buy or large retailer preferred.
• Must have demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products.

OVERVIEW

The Sales & Service Manager is a member of the store leadership team who deals with ALO’s business and guest experience strategy to life in store. This individual is passionate about business targets, sales, guest experience, and elevating talent to meet ALO’s guiding principles. This role’s north star is pointed at ensuring that guest experience in the store is exceptional. Duties require constant movement in and around the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests, this position takes initiative to perform other tasks, as needed, to keep store clean, safe, inviting and operating efficiently. 

Sales & Service Leader 

• Investigate and root cause sales opportunities, partnering with the General Manager to escalate process or system gaps
• Oversee the Sales & Service team to execute an exceptional guest experience on the floor through assessing the level of guest connection and technical product education and supporting team members to address gaps through feedback and coaching
• Continue to build the client relationship daily with our customers
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage through the development of workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives throughout the store as needed
• Partner with the General Manager to build the Sales & Service strategy for the store and execute implementation with the Sales & Service team 

Business Leader  

• Represent the business in meetings and on conference calls, in partnership with General Manager
• Review, Monitor and partner with General Manager to manage the budget, reporting and other business data; including metrics (e.g. Expenses, Sell-Thru) and inform planning processes (e.g., quarterly business review and sales planning)
• Future planning workflow business needs to protect optimal performance 

People Leader 

• Ensure that the Sales, Service, and Community team exudes ALO's mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to our guests who we are, what we do and why we do what we do
• Leads a team through accountability, continuous coaching on a regular basis, development of talent, and elevating effective communication throughout the Operations and Visual team
• Establish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategy

• Oversees the execution of certain deliverables on the ALO Sales and Service Model, protecting operational efficiency

Sales & Service Leadership Qualifications 

• 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience

Sales & Service Manager Schedule 

To build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams, we expect all full-time employees to be available for opening, closing and weekend shifts. All employees without exception are expected to be able to work during the company’s Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (the 1st week of January)

Physical Requirements

The Community Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, all on-site compliance activities, and for the overall performance of their assigned property as detailed below. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Ensure adherence to laws relating to leasing, including but not limited to Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Fair Credit Reporting Act. 

• Remains compliant and knowledgeable in all aspects of the HUD 4350.3 Handbook. 

• Develops responses to regulatory agencies in coordination with the Compliance Department. 

• Implements intervention strategies with Regional Managers and Compliance Department for tenants who are non-compliant with lease/compliance requirements. 

• Prepares all site REAC reviews, EHS violations cleared, Management and Occupancy Reviews (MOR), Investor Site Reviews, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Reviews, and performs annual and interim recertification reviews. 

• Assisting tenants with requests, questions, problems, and complaints. 

• Monitors tenant and complex-wide arrears and litigation cases. 

• Document lease violations and coordinate evictions. 

• Direct collection of monthly rents and late fees, process applications, and pursue delinquencies through legal action and eviction. Monitor bad-debt write-offs. 

• Alerting staff of move-ins, move-outs, and any emergencies. 

• Supervise, direct, and monitor the preventive and emergency maintenance/repairs to ensure compliance with all regulations. 

• Coordinate vendor bids and contractor quotes. 

• Conduct and document unit inspections. 

• Conduct bi-annual walk-throughs with the Building Superintendent. 

• Create reports for review to ensure all buildings under the PM’s responsibility are properly maintained and building needs are appropriately noted, planned for, and addressed. 

• Provide and obtain updates on various ongoing construction projects/unit renovations. 

• Work with the construction team on avoiding violations, inspections, and necessary access. 

• Attend monthly financial catch-up meetings and monitor budgets.
