Overview
In this position, you will use your teaching skills and GIS knowledge to empower our customers with our innovative GIS software. As an Esri Instructor, you will create a dynamic learning environment through hands-on training, interactive instructions, and engaging activities. You will partner with organizations to expand the use of ArcGIS maps and applications across their organizations and communicate the strategic impact of GIS programs.
The contributions you make in this role will support Esri customers across many industries including but not limited to Defense and Intelligence, Public Safety, and Health and Human Services. The work you do will enable customers to grow their ArcGIS user skills, productivity, and confidence in addition to ensuring sustainable GIS workflows and operations.
Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the St. Louis, MO area for this position.
Responsibilities
- Grow user skills. Develop and deliver training programs through various formats and methods including in-person, virtual and hybrid offerings, to enhance users' proficiency in ArcGIS software both domestically and internationally. Identify and address skill gaps through targeted training sessions and workshops. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, answering their questions and helping them overcome challenges. Stay updated on the latest GIS trends and technologies to ensure the training content remains relevant and up to date.
- Ensure sustainable GIS workflows. Collaborate with customers to understand their business processes and requirements. Provide guidance and training on best practices for designing and implementing sustainable GIS workflows. Deliver workshops and training sessions to educate customers on sustainable GIS workflows. Support customers in overcoming challenges and addressing any skill gaps related to workflow sustainability.
- Expand the use of ArcGIS. Actively promote the adoption of ArcGIS across customer groups. Identify potential use cases for ArcGIS in various business processes and demonstrate its value through facilitation. Develop and deliver training workshops and sessions to showcase the capabilities of ArcGIS. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and customize ArcGIS solutions to meet their needs.
- Communicate the impact of GIS. Develop compelling narratives and visualizations to effectively communicate the impact of GIS. Collaborate with Content Development and Creation teams to create engaging content, such as case studies and success stories. Present the value of GIS to customers. Stay informed about industry trends and research to provide insights on the broader impact of GIS in various domains.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities with an emphasis on ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro, with 2 years of professional experience in classroom facilitation and instructional delivery
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while prioritizing student needs
- Strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate feedback to continuously improve instructional delivery and course materials
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- 20% travel time within the year to support an average of 10-15 onsite customer training sessions per year

Overview
In this position, you will use your teaching skills and GIS knowledge to empower our customers with our innovative GIS software. As an Esri Instructor, you will create a dynamic learning environment through hands-on training, interactive instructions, and engaging activities. You will partner with organizations to expand the use of ArcGIS maps and applications across their organizations and communicate the strategic impact of GIS programs.
The contributions you make in this role will support Esri customers across many industries including but not limited to Defense and Intelligence, Public Safety, and Health and Human Services. Responsibilities
- Grow user skills. Develop and deliver training programs through various formats and methods including in-person, virtual and hybrid offerings, to enhance users' proficiency in ArcGIS software both domestically and internationally. Identify and address skill gaps through targeted training sessions and workshops. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, answering their questions and helping them overcome challenges. Stay updated on the latest GIS trends and technologies to ensure the training content remains relevant and up to date.
- Ensure sustainable GIS workflows. Collaborate with customers to understand their business processes and requirements. Provide guidance and training on best practices for designing and implementing sustainable GIS workflows. Deliver workshops and training sessions to educate customers on sustainable GIS workflows. Support customers in overcoming challenges and addressing any skill gaps related to workflow sustainability.
- Expand the use of ArcGIS. Actively promote the adoption of ArcGIS across customer groups. Identify potential use cases for ArcGIS in various business processes and demonstrate its value through facilitation. Develop and deliver training workshops and sessions to showcase the capabilities of ArcGIS. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and customize ArcGIS solutions to meet their needs.
- Communicate the impact of GIS. Develop compelling narratives and visualizations to effectively communicate the impact of GIS. Collaborate with Content Development and Creation teams to create engaging content, such as case studies and success stories. Present the value of GIS to customers. Stay informed about industry trends and research to provide insights on the broader impact of GIS in various domains.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience leveraging Esri`s software capabilities
- 5 of those years should be in ArcGIS Enterprise or Enterprise Geodatabases
- 2+ years of professional experience in classroom facilitation and instructional delivery
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while prioritizing student needs
- Strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate feedback to continuously improve instructional delivery and course materials

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Role Overview:
The City Operations Manager role is a key role within Birds’ Operations Team. The City Operations Manager will work with our regional Operations leadership to manage our business in the Minneapolis area, including full P&L ownership, vendor and stakeholder relationship management, and key strategic project delivery. We need a strategic critical thinker who can start from a broad perspective and dive deep into details to ensure complete alignment between strategy, execution, and outcomes. The Senior Director, Data is a strategic leadership role responsible for building and scaling RVO Health’s data capabilities. This leader will have responsibility for all data functions (data engineering, data analytics, data science, and AI) inside our Prevention business and will partner closely with senior executives and business stakeholders to define and execute a unified data strategy that drives measurable business outcomes. What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee a team of data leaders spanning Analytics, Engineering, Data Science, and AI, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and professional development to cultivate a high-performing, cross-functional data organization.
- Set and communicate the data strategy for the Prevention business, building strong alignment with senior leaders and ensuring each discipline is represented and resourced appropriately.
- Collaborate with senior executives and key stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable, strategic insights that influence business outcomes.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of advanced data models, algorithms, statistical methodologies, and AI/ML systems to support product needs.
- Manage teams responsible for delivering results across a portfolio of products or business units, ensuring operational excellence and impact.
- Oversee, manage, and optimize the profit and loss (P&L) for each data team, driving financial accountability and resource allocation.
- Own execution of the current data roadmap and lead capacity planning for future initiatives to ensure scalability and sustainability.
- Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and techniques across data analytics, engineering, data science, and AI to maintain a competitive edge and foster a culture of innovation within the teams.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., data science, statistics, computer science, engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience across multiple data disciplines, including data analytics, data engineering, data science, and/or AI/ML.
- Proven leadership experience building and managing large, multi-functional data teams and developing data people leaders.
- Deep understanding of modern data infrastructure, including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
- Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI/ML frameworks, with experience guiding their application in a business context.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and familiarity with ML platforms and orchestration tools.
- Track record of defining and delivering AI strategies, including generative AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with senior-level stakeholders and leadership, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic, data-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, prioritize competing demands, and drive accountability across large, distributed teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare ideally with consumer or patient facing applications.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience building and scaling data platforms to support self-serve analytics and democratized data access.
Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Starting Salary: $180,000 - $225,000

Job Summary
The Operations Partner is a critical logistical role essential to Bird's success in Minneapolis-St Paul, MN. You will take responsibility for the logistics of the local fleet of e-scooters and e-bikes, ensuring they are charged, safe, and positioned correctly to meet the community's transportation needs.
We are looking for entrepreneurial individuals or logistics businesses ready to hit the ground running. Whether you are a solo operator with a single van or a fleet owner capable of deploying multiple drivers, you can scale this partnership to fit your capacity.
You will have the flexibility to choose how you operate:
- Maximize earnings by securing your own space (warehouse/facility) to charge vehicles overnight.
- Streamline operations by simply retrieving and transporting vehicles to our central warehouse.
Important Details About the Role:
- This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role.
- You are responsible for your own tools, equipment, and any associated expenses required to complete your work.
- As an independent contractor, you manage your own schedule and workload to meet the operational needs of Bird.
Responsibilities
- Fleet Transportation: Utilize your vehicle(s) or fleet to collect, deploy, relocate, and retrieve e-scooters and e-bikes across Minneapolis-St Paul daily.
- Task-Based Operations (Choose your model):
- Retrieve & Charge (Highest Margin): Collect vehicles, charge them at your own secured facility, and deploy them the next morning.
- Retrieve & Drop-off: Collect vehicles and transport them to the local Bird warehouse for charging.
- Operational Management: Manage the end-to-end operation of your assigned portfolio, ensuring vehicles are available in high-demand areas.
- Maintenance & Quality: Perform light field checks to ensure vehicles are safe and environmentally friendly.
- Field Execution: Problem-solve in real-time to overcome obstacles, prioritize tasks, and navigate local geography efficiently.
Must Haves
- Vehicle Access (Required): Must own or have consistent access to at least one large vehicle (van/truck) suitable for transporting multiple scooters/bikes. Fleet owners with multiple vehicles/drivers are encouraged to apply.
- Storage Space (Asset): Access to a garage, warehouse, or commercial facility with electricity is highly preferred for maximizing earnings (allows for overnight charging).
- License: Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or applicable commercial license) with a clean driving record for all operating drivers.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly; must be able to stoop, bend, walk, and stand for long periods while handling heavy equipment.
- Availability: Flexible schedule with a willingness to regularly operate on weekends.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning new mobile tools to locate and manage the fleet.
- Local Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Minneapolis-St Paul's local geography.
