Role Context: 

We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Data Visualization specialist who will build assist in the development and maintenance of the reporting infrastructure to help stakeholders gain insights in their advertising campaigns. In this role, he/she will be responsible for retrieving, compiling, and transforming data to create the intelligence layer leading to analysis and optimization of media investments.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage the QA of data between media platforms and reporting outputs using tools such as Alteryx, SQL, and/or Excel
• Manage and identify data gaps that require manual entry, escalate to investment teams, and collect, QA, and process returned manual data. This includes initiating the data collection process, communicating any data QA issues, and working with teams to resolve those issues.
• Monitor data feeds for gaps or failures and action where necessary to resolve failures
• Build and maintain automated data QA workflows using Alteryx
• Update Tableau dashboards based on new/additional requests
• Build and maintain taxonomy generators and enforcers (via Excel, Google Sheets, and Alteryx) to assist in the adherence of taxonomy across all media channels.
• Setup and maintain automated data feeds/pipelines through API (Adverity), FTP, and/or scheduled email report)
• Troubleshoot any data discrepancies or issues that might occur,
• Fulfill ad hoc data pulls required for client deliverables,
• Manage the QA of data provisioning to MMM vendors or for client data warehouses.

Required Skills / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field with 1 – 3 years of work experience in data management, data visualization and data analytics preferably in a marketing and/or media agency.
• Experience with building dashboards in Tableau is required; knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation is a plus,
• Experience with Alteryx for business logic design required
• Experience working in Cloud environment (Azure, GCP),
• Experience working with SQL required, experience with Python a plus,
• Experience working with digital data from ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Campaign Manager, Other ad servers), campaign planning tools (e.g. Prisma, MediaOcean), website analytics software (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), paid search engine marketing data sources (e.g. Adwords, Marin, …) and others is strongly preferred,

Role Summary and Impact

As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Data Management & BI Senior Executive who will:

OVERVIEW:

Building on your foundational experience, the Senior Associate role recognizes your growth into a reliable core performer on our Activation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for data quality, reporting (weekly, monthly in channel observations & insights), dashboarding & visualization, research and testing.

You will be a key contributor to the team's success, known for your precision and dependability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Collect data & reporting requirements under the guidance of the Client Activation Lead and in partnership with Client Analytics to understand the measurement framework & learning agenda, the most critical metrics to implement for database build and business logic for data stitching.

· Support the defining of the taxonomy for the activation team to implement to ease data retrieval, and lead QA to ensure data accuracy.

· Manage the retrieving, compiling, and formatting of large volumes of data either through formal database solutions, data visualization, and programming.

· Assist in the set-up of the clients’ environment to ensure proper data connectivity

· Assist in the build and development of custom databases on the reporting platform.

· Assist in the strategy and development of the data visualization layer of the business intelligence platforms for insight generation for use in campaign monitoring and optimization.

· Help the development of automated QA processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.

· Communicate technical terms to non-technical people and help them understand why change might be required to achieve a specific goal or to complete a project.

WHAT YOU BRING

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. OR equivalent professional work experience.

· 1 – 3 years hands on experience in data management, data visualization and data analytics preferably in a marketing and/or media agency.

· Experience with digital data from ad serving platforms (e.g. Google Campaign Manager, Other adservers), campaign planning tools (e.g. Prisma, Lumina, MediaOcean), website analytics software (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), paid search engine marketing data sources (e.g. Adwords, Marin, …) and others is strongly preferred.

· Ability to reliably execute tasks with autonomy, while keeping team members informed of progress and challenges.

· Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and their application to campaign performance.
