Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, Compensation and Analytics is responsible for supporting the design, analysis, and administration of compensation and incentive programs across the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compensation plans are data-driven, competitive, equitable, and aligned with business performance—particularly Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). The position partners closely with HR, Finance, and Sales to support annual operating planning, compensation forecasting, and performance-based payout analysis, enabling informed decision-making and effective compensation governance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced compensation analyses, including statistical analysis and data mining, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Track, analyze, and report compensation payouts relative to plan performance and ARR attainment
- Develop, maintain, and optimize relational data models to support comprehensive compensation analytics and reporting
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc compensation reports and dashboards using Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) and Power BI for senior leadership
- Support annual operating planning processes related to sales compensation design and modeling
- Conduct market benchmarking and salary survey analysis to ensure internal compensation remains competitive and market-aligned
- Provide data-driven recommendations on compensation structures, incentive plans, and program enhancements
- Assist in the design, evaluation, and administration of compensation and incentive programs
- Support the development and maintenance of compensation policies, procedures, and governance standards
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and support compensation-related audits
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Sales on budgeting, forecasting, and compensation strategy initiatives
- Develop clear communication materials and support training for managers on compensation programs and changes
- Serve as a subject-matter resource for compensation-related inquiries from employees and managers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation analysis, data analytics, or a related analytical role
- Experience tracking and reporting compensation payouts against performance metrics, including ARR
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and relational data modeling
- Experience using Power BI or similar visualization tools for executive-level reporting
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SAS) and SQL for large data sets
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, incentive design, and market benchmarking practices
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive compensation data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sales compensation programs and incentive plan design in a SaaS or ARR-driven environment
- Familiarity with HRIS and compensation management systems
- Exposure to compensation audits, policy development, or regulatory compliance activities
- Demonstrated experience supporting cross-functional initiatives with Finance, HR, and Sales leadership
- Strong presentation and communication skills with experience delivering insights to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new analytical tools and technologies

Role Summary
Senior Analyst role is expected to support the broader analytics team in measuring and validating the effectiveness of paid media for channels including but not limited to, Linear TV, OTT, Social Activation, and Programmatic Activation, Audio, and OOH The Senior Analyst is expected to demonstrate the following skills/experience: strong grasp of experimental design, specifically covering A/B testing for Brand Impact (brand lift studies) and performance (conversion lift studies). Hands-on skills in data management and data visualization, quantitative data analysis, problem solving, statistical modeling, and the ability to develop/analyze business cases. Strong ability to design, customize, and maintain platforms for contract management, business intelligence, and user access. Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus and the ability to support and enable teamwork, self-motivated and able to operate independently with limited guidance and direction.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-focused area such as Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics; a related field or equivalent professional work experience is
required.
• 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in analytics.
• Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
• Advanced Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, building charts and graphs, etc.
• An understanding of Python and/or SQL (especially BigQuery/GCP) is helpful but not required.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI is a niceto-have.
• A background in statistical modeling (e.g., linear regression) is highly preferred.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other web analytics tools is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of media ad servers such as Google Campaign Manager or Meta CAPI would be preferred.
• Strong understanding of media metrics (e.g., buying models, CPV, VCR, GRP) and quantitative business measures.

About the Role
As Senior Analyst, you are accountable for quantifying and measuring the success of our marketing and advertising executions and for delivering quantifiable insights that enable us to innovate the work we deliver at MFG. You will be partnering with Analytics and cross-discipline team members in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles, helping to create continuity between the various teams.
Some of the things we’d like you to do:
- Everything with marketing data (collection, cleaning, analysis and validation)
- Communicate advertising campaign insights generated by our analysis and share communication best practices internally
- Seek knowledge of other practices in order to understand how to tailor insights and recommendations towards actionability
- Support the wider Analytics team in implementing our measurement tools
- Transform data into visually appealing presentations
- Proactively identify and resolve program & project issues, escalating appropriately
- Stay up to date on our product offerings and how it affects analytics
- Occasional vendor and client communication may be required
A bit about yourself:
- Bachelor's Degree from a top-tier college, 3.0 GPA or equivalent. Degree within Analytics, Technology, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent experience
- At least C1 English language proficiency or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience working in a marketing analytics-based role
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint (Google Workspace a must)
- Exposure to measurement of both Brand and Direct Response marketing campaigns
- Strong project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Highly organized and efficient under pressure
- Natural affinity for numbers/data and a passion for playing with data in order to solve problems
- Experience with generative AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT) a plus
- Experience with programming languages such as R, SQL, and Python a plus
