Responsibilities:

•  Monitor and investigate suspicious transactions, merchants, and third-party activity daily.
• Dive deep into fraud patterns across our portfolio using BI tools – spot trends, think critically, and act fast.
• Partner with teams across the company and with external stakeholders to develop and implement top-tier fraud detection strategies.
• Build and enhance reports, tools, and processes to prevent fraud and chargebacks – your insights will directly influence our security.
• Communicate with merchants and partners to assess fraud risks and agree on next steps. You'll be a trusted go-to for SMB clients when it comes to compliance and fraud-related queries.
• Collaborate with card schemes like Visa and Mastercard on program breaches, appeals, investigations, and reporting.
• Stay on top of chargeback and fraud programs, ensuring compliance and proactive management of scheme requirements.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Risk team to identify and monitor high-risk merchants.
• Help shape the tools and workflows we use every day by challenging outdated processes and suggesting smarter, faster ways to work.
• Other ad hoc tasks can be assigned by the manager as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with BI tools such as Oracle BI, SAP, Qlik, Tableau, or SQL, or advanced Excel skills are a must.
• A degree in Banking & Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, or similar, or hands-on experience in fraud/investigative roles within Payments or Banking.
• Card transactions, Acquiring background, highly advantageous.
• Big plus if you have direct experience supporting small-to-medium business (SMB) clients.
• Clear, confident communication in English (both spoken and written).
• Strong analytical mindset with great investigative instincts – you don’t stop until you get to the "why".
• Able to manage multiple priorities with focus and independence – you’re organized and driven. Able to work under minimal supervision / high degree of independence allocated, and have strong independent decision-making capabilities

The Director of Data Engineering will lead and scale the Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering functions, owning the post-application data platform and its architecture, governance, and operating model. This foundational leadership role ensures best in class engineering standards, helps drive the organization toward a durable, auditable, data-product operating model, and modernizes and expands a Snowflake-centered data stack to include building and operating scalable distributed data processing and real-time streaming systems that support event-driven data products for operational use cases.

The role partners closely with Product, Software Engineering, Data Product Managers, Marketing, Compliance, Finance and Data Science to ensure our data ecosystem is production-grade, scalable, and compliant in a regulated gaming environment.

What You'll Do:

Team Leadership & Organizational Growth

• Lead and grow Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering teams; recruit, mentor, and elevate technical capabilities around distributed data processing, stream processing, and event-driven architectures
• Define ownership models for platform components and data products; set performance and hiring plans.
• Advance engineering standards for deployment: development, testing, documentation, release management, and SLAs.
• Partner with Data Product Managers to define data assets as versioned, documented data products with clear ownership and SLAs.

Platform, Architecture & Engineering Excellence

• Own the administration, reliability, governance, and strategic expansion of the Snowflake-based post-application data platform to operate scalable distributed data processing pipelines capable of handling high-volume event data across both batch and streaming workloads.
• Manage platform governance, access control, security, cost, and capacity planning.
• Standardize DBT deployment methods, promotion workflows, and environment management.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) for reproducible, auditable infrastructure.
• Deliver monitoring, observability, lineage, and data quality frameworks; enforce traceability and auditability for regulated reporting.
• Own and evolve ingestion and warehouse architecture and transformation frameworks .
• Improve performance, cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data transformation and storage layers.
• Define and enforce engineering standards across the data lifecycle and establish SLAs and reliability metrics for critical assets - ensuring all pipelines, transformations, and reporting are auditable and documented for internal and external review

Event-Driven Architecture & Player 360

• Partner with Software Engineering on event messaging, streaming architecture, and ingestion patterns (built on technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Structured Streaming, Flink, or equivalent platforms).
• Lead technical design and development of a unified Player 360 data foundation that integrates transactional, behavioral, and event-level data.
• Align application schema design with downstream analytical, product, and regulatory requirements.
• Balance real-time and batch processing strategies according to business needs and cost/complexity tradeoffs.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related STEM field preferred. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3+ years of experience in leadership roles. 
• Experience transitioning an organization from private/startup to public company.
• Experience in regulated industries (gaming, fintech, payments, healthcare).
• Prior experience building Player 360 / Customer 360 platforms.
• Deep hands-on experience with Terraform / IaC and production-grade streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
• Familiarity with GenAI governance frameworks and scalable AI integration patterns such as Harness Engineering.

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and creating reports and integrations in relation to Super's business applications portfolio.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop, configure, and maintain integrations.
• Serve as a functional advisor for Finance reporting processes in D365 (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, Projects, etc.).
• Support Finance teams during month-end, year-end, and ongoing operational improvements within reporting and analytics.
• Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, solution design, and UAT.
• Identify opportunities to streamline Finance workflows using automation and best practices.
• Collaborate with Business Applications, IT, and Finance leaders on roadmap execution.
• Maintain documentation, integration diagrams, and operational handbooks.
• Design, build, and optimize Financial and Operational reports using: Power BI, Microsoft Fabric / Data Lakehouse, D365 FinOps data entities & reporting framework
• Work closely with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions.
• Establish and maintain data models, semantic layers, and reusable datasets.
• Develop, configure, and maintain integrations between D365 FINOPS, EPM tools, Fabric.
• Take ownership over development, deployment and change management (DevOps and Jira).

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong understanding of Finance processes (Accounting, FP&A, Controlling, Reporting).
• Experience working directly with Finance stakeholders and translating requirements.
• Experience in implementing ERP solutions (preferable Dynamics Navision, Business Central or Finance).
• Hands‑on experience with D365 Finance & Operations or other Dynamics ERP systems (AX 2009/2012, D365 BC).
• Experience creating integrations using: • D365 Data Entities, Azure Logic Apps / Azure Functions (preferred) OData, REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and data modeling.
• Large-scale data processing with PySpark
• Experience with Azure DevOps
