The Role 

We’re looking for a Senior Structure Analysis Engineer to own structural and thermal analysis across flight hardware, from early design through flight readiness and production. This role sits at the center of engineering decision-making. You will be responsible for ensuring hardware is analytically sound, flight-worthy, and properly dispositioned - working closely with mechanical design, avionics, test, manufacturing, and systems teams. 

Responsibilities

• Own structural analysis of primary and secondary spacecraft structures, including but not limited to:
  • Modal analysis
  • Random vibration
  • Static and quasi-static loading
  • Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) and thermo-elastic loading
• Perform analysis on a wide range of hardware, including:
  • Flight structures and mechanisms
  • Avionics enclosures
  • PCB and electronics assemblies
  • Lead or support thermal analysis to evaluate operating margins, gradients, and coupled structural-thermal effects
• Serve as a technical authority for hardware disposition:
  • Assess flight and test hardware prior to production
  • Support nonconformance (NCR) resolution and root-cause analysis
  • Provide clear, defensible recommendations for accept-as-is, repair, or rework decisions
  • Partner closely with design and test teams to translate requirements into analysis models and to correlate analysis with test result                   
  • Contribute to analysis methodologies, best practices, and documentation that scale with the program. 

Qualifications 

• 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 years analyzing complex aerospace components.
• Bachelors required, Masters preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in ANSYS FEM software (NASTRAN, FEMAP, Abaqus and similar acceptable)
• Senior-level expertise in either structural or thermal analysis, with demonstrated proficiency in the alternate discipline.
• Strong experience applying analysis to real flight hardware - not just academic models.
• Deep understanding of aerospace loading environments, material behavior, and margin assessment.
• Experience supporting hardware through test, flight qualification, and production.

• Define Electronics Strategy: Create the technical roadmap for Voyager’s mission-critical electronics portfolio, covering high-performance edge computing, software-defined radios, and advanced sensor suites.

Required Qualifications:

The Role 

You’ll work closely with Electrical Engineers to design critical electronics across all K2 Space satellites, ranging from kW-scale power converters to high-performance flight computers. The Role 

You will play a critical role in the qualification, implementation and reliability of our satellite’s avionics hardware in the most intense radiation environments of space. The Role  

You will play a key role in the development and production of the avionics systems for the K2 Mega-class satellite platform. This position requires deep technical expertise in reworking high reliability PCBAs, collaborating closely with Design and Test Engineers, and supporting avionics testing infrastructure and flight builds. You will also support wire harness fabrication as needed to help support the wider team.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior RFIC Layout Designer to drive the physical implementation of advanced RF and mixed-signal integrated circuits for next-generation satellite communication systems. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on hands-on layout execution and top-level integration, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance silicon.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality layout for RF, analog, and mixed-signal blocks in advanced FinFET nodes (e.g., LNA, RF amplifiers, mixers, PLL, LO generation, ADC/DAC, baseband filters, bandgap/bias/LDO)
• Contribute to top-level layout integration, including block placement, routing, power planning, and floorplanning.

The Role 

You will contribute to the design, development, and testing of avionics components of major satellite subsystems. This role will support production and development of the K2 Mega-class satellite. You will assemble, test, rework, and integrate harnesses and electromechanical assemblies. The Role 

You will contribute to the build and development of avionics and software test assets for major satellite subsystems and vehicle simulation. This role will be the owner of avionics hardware installation, wire harnessing, test rack fabrication, and HITL (Hardware-In-The-Loop) test bed build and maintenance. THE OPPORTUNITY 

Silvus is seeking an Engineering Technician-Soldering Specialist who will report to the Team Lead of Electronics Design. This position collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team of electrical and mechanical engineers to support the assembly of advanced wireless communication systems, providing expert technical assistance throughout the process.

This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Printed circuit board SMD rework to support new product development.
• Custom wiring harness creation and electro-mechanical prototype assembly.

• Responsible for other related duties as required by the engineering team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Printed Circuit Board hand soldering with experience using lead-free solder.
• Rework down to 0201 passives and 0.4mm pitch BGAs, perform trace cuts, and route fine gauge wire to support development.
• Experience in a development lab setting.
• Ability to manage priorities across several projects and operate with a high level of independence.
• Proficiency in the use of electrical modification equipment (soldering station, heat-gun, and preheater).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting PCB rework and mechanical assembly instructions, electrical schematics, assembly drawings, BOMs, and mechanical 2D drawings.

Silvus is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer who will report to the Team Lead, Electronics Design on the Hardware Engineering team. The successful individual in this role will participate in the development of Silvus’ MANET radios and other advanced R&D projects with an emphasis on Electronics Hardware/PCBA design.

• Coordinate resources, identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the product development lifecycle, including design for manufacturing, build cost viability/analysis, transitioning from engineering into pre-production and production (BOMs, drawing updates, configuration management, test plans, etc.)
• Plan, organize, and conduct product and system integration, testing, and validation, including support/conduct thermal testing/analysis, mechanical/electrical fit checks, FAAT, and related testing.
• Ensure product designs and implementation meet MIL-STD environmental, EMI, EEE, and human factors (e.g., MIL-STD-810, -461, -464, and -1472) specifications as appropriate by formulating test plans and outsourcing.
• Provide technical direction and mentor junior team members, as appropriate.
• Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field.
