Responsibilities

Qualifications 

• 7+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or infrastructure roles 

• Deep expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, or CentOS) administration 

• Strong experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) 

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) 

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar 

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP/OSPF, firewalls, and load balancers

About This Role

We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate the network infrastructure that connects our people, systems, and facilities. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role — you’ll architect, deploy, and manage everything from fiber-connected multi-building networks to secure, air-gapped environments supporting engineering, manufacturing, and compute-intensive workloads.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $110,000-$170,000 annually. 

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. We're looking for a driven DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You'll help build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that keeps our systems running reliably at scale. Working alongside senior engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience with modern cloud-native tooling -  from provisioning infrastructure with Terraform to deploying applications via ArgoCD on Kubernetes.

The Strategic Enterprise Account Executive role is an outside sales position responsible for developing, managing, and closing business for Strategic Enterprise customers in the North America region and is an integral part of the field sales organization. This person will partner with our demand generation, solutions engineering, and product teams to guide prospective customers through a solutions sales journey of modernizing their cloud platform architecture.  This position will require you to develop a deep understanding of the specific challenges customers are facing to help them positively achieve their business outcomes with Upbound’s solutions. 

This role will work cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales development and customer success to provide a tight-knit customer relationship, account leadership and direction in both the pre-sales and post-sales processes.

In this role, you will:  

• Carry a sales quota that aligns with Upbound’s revenue goals.
• Function as the primary point of contact and the face of Upbound for new prospects and customers.
• Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities within existing customer accounts.
• Manage complex strategic enterprise sales motions with multiple prospect engagement points.
• Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of Upbound products and services in partnership with pre-and-post sales engineering and support.
• Take ownership of your business by documenting the buying criteria, process, and owners to ensure pipeline accuracy.
• Look for and implement improvements to sales processes, tools, and materials.
• Travel to customer sites and industry conferences and events as needed.

You are a good fit if you have:

What You’ll Do

At Flip, you'll create user experiences, design and implement new features, and oversee entire pipelines of the Flip assistant. You'll also get deep into the data, interact with our customers, and help shape the direction of the product. We have a few excellent senior engineers already on the team, one of which will become your direct mentor!

You will get to work on intricate Python-based systems that interface with a wide range of external APIs, develop optimized LLM interfaces, handle complex dialogue management and flows, shape conversational workflows, and ensure low-latency, high-availability voice experiences.

Who You Are, As A Person

• You hold a BS in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering, or related scientific or technical discipline.
• You are an exceptional programmer, and have a strong proficiency in Python (minimum of 3-5 years): you can write pythonic code and have experience working with asyncio, decorators, advanced class usage (dataclasses, inheritance), an array of modules, and frameworks like FastAPI or Pipecat.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT, Bearer Tokens, etc), and third-party integrations.
• You have a good working knowledge of data analytics and metrics pipelines, and have worked with data analytics systems such as Omni, Tableau, Looker, Grafana, etc.
• You put in the time and dedication to write, iterate, deploy, and monitor work you're proud of.
• You can effectively communicate with non-technical teammates and clients when needed.
• You are eager and willing to support your teammates –  just like they will be with you!

Bonuses

• You are an experienced LLM Prompt Engineer and have fine-tuned or deployed LLMs yourself.
• You have experience with Pipecat, or TTS and STT pipelines in general.
• You have experience working with AWS cloud services, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and/or Ansible, and know your way around a terminal.
