Do you thrive in high-pressure environments where every minute counts and your decisions directly impact life-saving deliveries? The Service Engineering team sits at the critical nexus between operations and engineering, serving as the first line of technical support for our global fleet of aircraft, droids, and docks. When assets go down, customers can't receive essential supplies—there's no room for delay.
Our Service Engineers are the elite troubleshooters who ensure grounded assets return to service with maximum velocity and quality. You'll work in 24/7 shift operations, serving as the primary technical lead who coordinates cross-team resources, diagnoses complex technical issues, and maintains the operational tempo that keeps Zipline flying around the world.
This role operates under strict regulatory requirements (FAA Part 135) and demanding performance targets to minimize time to service restoration and maximizing first-time fix rates. You'll serve both Flight Test and Commercial Operations, making your work essential to every delivery we make.
As a Service Engineer, you'll lead technical response as the primary technical lead for grounded assets, coordinating cross-team resources and driving resolution with urgency and precision. Your systematic troubleshooting approach will use approved procedures and diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement solutions for aircraft, droid, and dock systems. Working in 24/7 shift operations forms a core part of your responsibilities, including comprehensive handovers, on-call duties, and emergency response protocols to maintain continuous coverage.
You'll coordinate cross-team escalation to engineering support and maintenance teams, creating work orders and ensuring smooth handoffs when physical maintenance is required. Log analysis and diagnostics will become second nature as you identify patterns, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and generate reports that drive continuous improvement. Maintaining regulatory compliance with FAA Part 135 operations, CAMP requirements, and repairman certification standards ensures all documentation meets aviation industry standards.
Driving continuous improvement will be central to your role as you contribute to troubleshooting guides, identify automation opportunities, and provide feedback to design engineering on system improvements. You'll operate advanced tools including the Zipline ERP (Zerp) platform, Fleet Apps, incident.io, and Jira to track assets, manage incidents, and coordinate with global teams. Asset triage and prioritization will maximize operational impact, ensuring critical assets return to service first while managing multiple incidents simultaneously.
Documentation and tracking of all troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and lessons learned builds institutional knowledge and supports regulatory requirements.
This role requires working 24/7 shift operations including nights, weekends, and holidays as part of our continuous coverage model. You'll participate in on-call rotations and must be available for rapid response when critical assets are grounded.
The position operates under strict performance metrics and regulatory requirements. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where your decisions directly impact customer deliveries and operational safety.
Ability to sit (or stand at a standing desk) for long periods of time to review tickets, conduct analysis and coordinate solutions with engineers when needed.

The Zipline Maps team is responsible for producing the high-precision geospatial data that our fully autonomous drones need to safely and reliably navigate complex urban environments—flying from fulfillment centers directly to homes, businesses, and other delivery locations. We build and maintain systems for collecting and aggregating spatial data from a variety of sources, validating our flight routes over the latest information, and providing geospatial services to stakeholders across the company. From R&D to sales to strategy to operations, the Global R&D Data Analyst has the unique opportunity to improve decision-making across all aspects of One Acre Fund’s program using many diverse data types, such as sales, yield, demographic and satellite data, to help us reach more farmers with greater impact.
The Global R&D Data Analyst will help us reach over one million farmers by executing analyses for strategic decision-making on repayment, expansion, and other business functions, and work directly with program leaders to interpret results and make data-driven decisions. The Global R&D Data Analyst will play an integral role in shaping One Acre Fund’s data strategy, including dreaming up and executing new ways to use our data to improve our program.
Additionally, One Acre Fund has a robust agronomic and socioeconomic research program spanning all countries of operation. This role will work closely with country R&D teams to ensure all trials are executed at the highest possible standards, provide follow-up analytical support and training to team members, and support with warehousing of our agronomic data to make our research outputs accessible to external collaborators, further increasing One Acre Fund’s smallholder farmer impact across the continent.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a strong communicator and have a solid analytical background with experience in experimental design. You will need to be comfortable interpreting ambiguous results generated with imperfect data and advising leaders on the relative risk associated with different decisions based on the results of your analysis.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Entrepreneurship Development Manager will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the country market. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to drive both operational excellence and strategic vision as a core member of a City Team. The Manager will report directly to the City General Manager for day-to-day operational leadership and program implementation, while also maintaining a strategic reporting line to the Entrepreneurship Director to ensure alignment with our global entrepreneurial efforts, in particular with our flagship ALX Ventures program. In this capacity, the Manager will integrate practices and perspectives from both city-specific and global contexts to advance our collective mission.

Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. Our Rwanda program, founded in 2007 is our largest and operates under the local brand Tubura. We have more than 3,000 staff across all four provinces of Rwanda, as well as in Kigali. Together, we served more than 2.8 million farmers in 2024. We work closely with the government to support national efforts to improve food security. Additionally, we help channel funding and resources to promising agri-SMEs, supporting farmers by providing a market for high-impact crops such as coffee, avocado, and chili.
The Global Procurement Senior Associate ensures 3+ country PRO teams have the capabilities, tools, mastery, and professionalism to deliver high-quality materials and services on time, in full, at the best price, every time, anywhere, without any opportunity for fraud or losses. This role also owns several key procurement processes across all countries, beyond the ones s/he manages directly.
