Senior Partner Account Executive - Indonesia

EDB is seeking a local Channels and Senior Partner Account Executive to lead our channel business in Indonesia. In this role you will be responsible for managing EDB’s distributor and partner network in the region. The role reports to the Director, APJ Channel Sales. This is an indirect channel sales role and will wear quota and overlay quota in the pursuit of set quarterly and annual revenue.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for developing the strategic plan for partners and demonstrating accelerated sales growth via a value-added partner ecosystem.

The role is hands-on with all aspects of EDB's Partners’ strategy. This includes the development, enablement, management and expansion of EDB’s VAR, SI and distributor network across the region. As a quota carrying Partner Account Executive you will own the region’s partner generated & fulfilled revenue quota that will be part of the regional quota. You will be expected to manage and drive partner identification, recruitment, enablement and support functions across the assigned territory. The Partner Account Executive will work with the support of the regional sales team.

What you will bring:

• 10+ years of experience of hiring, managing, developing, mentoring and driving channel and partner teams
• 8+ years of experience in high-tech sales, channels, business development in Indonesia
• Partner Account Executive will be responsible for driving growth and strengthening strategic partnerships across Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines 
• Ideally from a software open source background will be good and plus
• Proficient level of English speaking/reading/writing is required.
• Enjoys working as part of a larger team with common goals
• Proven track record of building and expanding a partner ecosystem and driving revenue growth through the channels
• Experience in setting appropriate goals and incentives for channel partners
• Demonstrated experience working with distributors, value-added resellers, SI’s OEMs & ISVs, CSP/MSP.
• Direct sales and channel sales experience
• Solid working knowledge and experience with the database or other infrastructure software products, either directly or from a competitive perspective desirable
• Strong team player with an exceptional ability to work in a matrix team environment
• Solid program management and business development skills
• Excellent presentation skills; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel across the region

• Achieve quarterly and annual quotas set for the role; experience in closing a minimum of $5mn using Partners and distribution channels
• Managing, developing and mentoring high performing Indonesia partners to achieve optimal performance, ensure loyal partnerships, and increase sales.
• Build pipeline in four rolling quarters to support 2x quota coverage in current quarter and 3x quota coverage in rolling next quarter
• Work with the local regional sales teams to develop a plan to recruit key partners across the territory that are aligned to EDB Indonesia business goals.
• Support both Direct and Indirect sales in core geographies.
• Work closely with regional sales to determine how EDB products fit within the partner's core business model, utilize and engage where applicable
• Create, support, track and measure all sales initiatives with partners and channel team using the company's CRM
• Design, implement, and execute business and GTM plans for each targeted partner and build effective SMART measurements that clearly show revenue milestones are being met
• Ensure partner teams are suitably trained and enabled to drive incremental revenue
• Good technical understanding of Postgres; Selling into Open-Source Database market would be a big benefit
• Management of key partner relationships at Executive, Sales and Technical levels
• Provide on-going communication.

Job Summary

Based in our Jakarta office, the Sales Engineer will provide guidance in the use of InterSystems' products as they best suit the requirements of the customer and its market. Product and business strategies are coordinated with the InterSystems Sales Team to apply existing and new products to customers' database and application needs.

This is a comprehensive and challenging role, requiring a mix of solution design skills, hands-on coding, presentation skills, technical architecture, sales awareness, business acumen, evangelism, mentoring and training. The Sales Engineer should have a strong technical background within healthcare software.

This role requires regular travel across SE Asia.

Responsibilities

• Investigate & demonstrate the use of InterSystems products with other 3rd party technologies.
• Manage the technical relationship with customer accounts, ensuring that they are aware of the latest product capabilities.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Build and demonstrate Proof of Concepts (POCs) for prospects and customers to illustrate the suitability, ease of use, performance, features, and reliability and/or connectivity capabilities of InterSystems technology.
• Participate in business and detailed technical discussions at all levels and in all departments of the customer's organisation to foster the adoption, use and deployment of InterSystems’ technologies.
• Recommend technical architecture, database schema, design patterns, migration and upgrade strategies and operational best practices.
• Install InterSystems software and assist with benchmarking exercises to determine optimal deployment configurations.
• Work as a hands-on lead application developer to coach partners and prospects, particularly in the early stages of adoption or during particularly technically challenging projects.
• Provide application programming in a variety of InterSystems technologies, and other technologies.
• Give corporate presentations to InterSystems' customers and prospects at site visits, marketing events and such venues. Topics include strategic and tactical considerations across both technical and business directions. Provide technical product demonstrations.
• Carry out formal training courses in InterSystems technologies.
• Support customers and prospects during beta test programmes or pre-launch activities and provide feedback to the software development groups.
• Assist with troubleshooting and interact with the World-wide Response Centre (WRC) to support resolution of technical problems.
• Provide consulting services for the Sales Department and other InterSystems departments (Marketing, Support, Development, Documentation among others) as requested.
• Design technical architecture with IRIS and other solutions.
• Connect with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify solutions
  • Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions
  • Performing design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions
  • Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
  • Advocating for process improvements and helping develop solutions
  • Regularly communicating new features and benefits to partners, customers, and other stakeholders

  • Reviewing and validating solutions designs from other team members

Experience & Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of IT Industry issues & trends including integration and cloud, with specific vertical market & technical knowledge in Integration (SOA, ESB, EAI, ETL, BI…).
• Proven leadership or technical management in an application development environment
• Highly experienced programming with demonstrable current hands-on expertise in object-oriented languages such as C#, C++ or Java / Jakarta EE.
• Highly knowledgeable in Python development
• Experience with clinical systems, EPRs, Health Exchange and protocols in healthcare, HL7 FHIR and IHE.
• Ongoing experience within the design, development & deployment of complex applications.
• Knowledge of application frameworks, application servers and server-less programming models.
• Knowledge of agile software development processes and continuous development.
• Extensive use of 2 or more databases such as InterSystems Caché, Oracle, SQLServer, PostgreSQL, Informix or DB2/UDB, including designing logical and physical database schema, good SQL and JDBC/ODBC expertise, installation and configuration skills, and performance tuning.
• Proven business analysis and problem solving skills
• Understanding of the business considerations of application development, support and deployment
• Excellent analytical skill
• English language fluency
• Software Engineering experience.
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLM integration, Agentic AI systems, and applied machine learning frameworks.
