We are seeking Associate Scientists – Assay Development, with a passion for innovation to join R&D team in Hangzhou City (China) to augment our novel biomarker detection and quantitation capability. You will be working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and will be a part of a rapidly growing company to make a big impact in life science research and early disease diagnosis.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Design, optimize and execute experiments for new biomarker detection.
- Maintain reagent libraries; maintain accurate records of work performed, including reagents, methodology, and results. Utilize records and calculate, graph, and compile data.
- Examine the impacts of multiple variables on assay performance and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Proactively identify opportunities for product and process improvement.
- Management and regular maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Requirements include:
- B.S. degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or a related discipline.
- 2+ years hands on experience running and developing immunoassays, such as ELISA, as well as experience generating, analyzing, and reviewing assay data.
- Knowledge in emerging reagent and immunoassay technologies is essential.
- Data management skills highly beneficial.
- Self-motivation with a positive “can do” attitude, attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects.
- Strong communication skills to work within a multidisciplinary team environment required.
