Role: Integrated Designer, 18-month FTC (f/m/d)

About the role:

Join our dynamic team as a delivery-focused Integrated Designer and play a key role in producing work for multiple clients in Hamburg and across Germany. In this role, you’ll take digital, print, and social content projects from brief through to final delivery. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and can confidently adapt designs, translating campaign assets and brand guidelines into high-impact creative..  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the team to produce design/adaptation to the client’s brief and exacting standards from the outset until completion, including digital, print, and social. 
• Positively influencing clients with creative input in addition to undertaking and pitching new creative concepts when appropriate. 
• Ensure consistency and quality across all design deliverables while adhering to brand guidelines and project specifications in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
• Have a strong knowledge of the brand guidelines to act as a brand guardian. 
• Communicate and present projects effectively to internal stakeholders and clients, incorporating feedback to refine and iterate designs as needed. 
• Create inspiring and exciting content, from repurposing, reformatting of assets to ideation. 
• Be an entrepreneurial lead on the development of creative and output. 
• Keenly evaluate and monitor industry trends and brands, AI, research industry developments in branding, automation and marketing to be at the forefront of creative excellence. 
• Proactivity and strong project management skills, teamed with an aptitude for managing multiple varying sized projects seamlessly  
• Ability to deliver final artwork and toolkits on digital and print based material. 

What good looks like: 

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, plus 3+ years of experience in digital media, motion graphics, web design, artwork, print, production, and automation/AI.
• You’ll already an Integrated Designer eager for larger challenges and skill growth on big accounts, preferably with experience in large-scale FMCG, especially Beauty or Fashion. Must be versed in multiple channels, including TV, DOOH, press, direct marketing, display, social media, and content creation.
• 3+ years of professional experience in design, artwork and production 
• Proficiency in German & English (C1)
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across various platforms and mediums 
• Ability to engage and build rapport with clients, and organise and influence them  
• Capability to take initiative, think creatively, and solve problems independently
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, basic Figma knowledge, and an understanding of emerging platforms with a willingness to adopt new software and AI efficiency tools.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple delivery needs – right first time 
• Appreciation of contemporary photography, positioning and cropping, with a skill for basic retouching 
• Strong typography, layout and technical skills with excellent attention to detail 
• Proficient in designing static and animated online banners, social media posts for Instagram and Facebook, web design, and UI design.
• An understanding of responsive design across all digital platforms 
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design, AI, social, technology, and marketing to continually enhance the quality and effectiveness of our work 
• Experienced in motion design, storyboarding, and animation using After Effects and Premiere.
• An understanding of automation software and willingness to embrace them 
• Working on print-based collateral with great knowledge of branding 
• The ability to talk through your ideas confidently with the team and clients

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team in Germany. As a Lead Designer, you define and drive the visual foundation for scalable, brand-consistent and joyful product experiences at system level and across multiple teams. You combine vision and execution, strategy and pragmatism, system thinking and craft.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Drive System Vision (B2C Focus): Define the UX vision for a scalable, multi-brand design system, leveraging proven experience to shape its interaction patterns, structural logic, and evolution within diverse, high-volume Business-to-Consumer (B2C) ecosystems.
• Ensure Omnichannel Quality: Maintain exceptional UX quality through hands-on system design and heuristic reviews, establishing clear, accessible standards for multiple touchpoint formats and platforms.
• Refine Touch & Interaction Architecture: Drive component logic refactoring, comprehensive UX documentation, and behavioral guidelines, applying a deep understanding of touch interface ergonomics and mobile-first interaction patterns.
• Champion Cross-Functional Alignment: Connect core consumer behavior insights and B2C product goals with system strategy, ensuring a cohesive user journey across the entire product landscape.
• Guide Teams & Foster Culture: Support the team through structured workflows and UX coaching, cultivating a usability-driven culture that builds trust and sets the benchmark for interaction design and accessibility.
• Own System Governance: Shape service processes and governance that empower product teams to apply, test, and confidently extend the comprehensive Design System.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Proven ability to lead end-to-end UX design and guide a senior team toward cohesive user journeys
• Strong execution skills with the ability to deliver high-quality designs across many screens and breakpoints
• Deep expertise in responsive design across multiple devices and complex environments
• Advanced proficiency in Figma or Frontify to produce high-fidelity design work
• Ability to set design standards and mentor designers to elevate craft and quality
• Experience leading by example through design excellence, mentoring, and clear system thinking;
• Assertiveness; you’re and independent thinker that is able to go beyond backlogs items and client briefs by challenging the status quo and provide new ideas and perspectives.
• A pragmatic mindset: you know when to push, when to align, and how to move things forward;
• Working proficiency in English AND German is a must
