THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT: 

Reporting to our SVP, Product & Customer Marketing, Product Marketing at Ivalua is a strategic function—and also an operating system. We win when our messaging is consistent, credible, and well-executed across teams, regions, and moments in the market. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a dual role:

1. Strategic contributor shaping how our platform and products are positioned, and
2. Execution leader who helps the broader product marketing team move faster, stay aligned, and communicate with clarity.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, loves turning ambiguity into structure, and takes pride in exceptional writing and communication.

ROLE: 

Team Enablement & Content Orchestration

• Act as a central point of coordination for product marketing content, updates, and release communications.
• Consolidate inputs from product, PMMs, and stakeholders into clear, consistent messaging and assets.
• Project-manage product marketing deliverables across launches, campaigns, and ongoing updates—ensuring timelines, quality, and alignment.
• Maintain and evolve core messaging frameworks so the organization speaks with one voice.

Writing & Communication Excellence

• Own and elevate the quality of product marketing writing across the team—from launch narratives and release notes to positioning docs and executive messaging.
• Translate complex product and AI concepts into clear, confident language that resonates with procurement, finance, and IT leaders.
• Edit, refine, and pressure-test content to ensure clarity, consistency, and credibility.

Market, Product & Competitive Research

• Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive research to inform positioning and messaging.
• Synthesize analyst research, customer insights, sales feedback, and usage data into actionable recommendations.
• Support competitive intelligence efforts with clear, fact-based narratives—not feature checklists.

Analytics & Insight

• Use performance data to assess what content, messaging, and launches are working—and where adjustments are needed.
• Track adoption, engagement, and GTM effectiveness to inform future releases and messaging priorities.

Go-To-Market & Launch Support

• Support end-to-end GTM execution for new capabilities and releases, with a strong focus on clarity and consistency.
• Ensure internal teams (sales, customer success, partners) are well-informed and well-equipped.
• Help balance speed with rigor—moving fast without creating confusion.

YOUR PROFILE

Experience

• At least 5-8 years of experience in product marketing or a closely related role in enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Experience supporting complex products or platforms with frequent releases.
• Background in procurement, finance, ERP, supply chain, or adjacent enterprise domains is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Build things publicly with Kimchi - tutorials, demos, integrations - that show developers how to solve real problems. Think live build logs, OSS integrations, or benchmarks you'd want to read yourself.
• Be the voice of the the developer community: Discord, GitHub discussions, Reddit, HN - be present where developers are already talking about the problems we solve
• Be the structured feedback loop between dev community and product - synthesize what you're hearing into actionable signals for the product team. 
• Write technical content that ranks and spreads: setup guides, benchmark breakdowns, comparison posts, integration walkthroughs
• Speak at conferences, meetups and run workshops - representing Kimchi as a technical peer
• Identify where new users get stuck and advocate hard for fixes
• Help shape Kimchi's voice in the developer community - what we stand for, what we say when there is trending news in the market 

Requirements:

• You've built real software and can talk about it credibly - ideally you've used agentic coding tools and have opinions about them
• You're a strong technical writer - you can explain complex things clearly and make them resonate with the developer audience
• You're comfortable being the public face of a technical product: blog posts, talks, live demos, community threads
• Huge plus: You'd have tested and found problems Kimchi solves interesting -  before this job posting even existed
• Bonus: you've worked in or around Kubernetes, LLM inference, or developer tooling

Background:

eu-LISA is the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA) manages large-scale IT systems to support the implementation of asylum, border management and migration policies in the European Union (EU). The Agency is also a front-runner for the digitalisation efforts of the EU's Justice and Home Affairs domain, building a new information architecture and contributing to the development of a new security ecosystem. Since the Agency's beginnings in 2012, eu-LISA has become the digital engine of the Schengen Area. Task description:         

• Plan, research, write, and edit existing or new technical guides or operational manuals
• Work closely with Infrastructure & Operations Unit Department and other cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy in the manuals
• Read and analyse functional specifications and technical documents to interpret overall functionality and product intricacies
• Handle multiple guides and manuals simultaneously; should be able to manage time and tasks effectively
• Adapt to changing requirements and deal with aggressive schedules
• Work independently through all stages of the Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC)
• Serve the roles of an editor and proof-reader by participating in peer reviews
• Contribute to the writing and proofreading of tender technical specifications
• Apply corporate quality standards and policies
• Ensure consistency among documents/drafts, confirming accuracy of references/footnotes/captions

Education:       

• Minimum 3 years of relevant education (bachelor degree or equivalent) after the secondary school

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of proof reading or publishing experience, preferably with IT technical documents

Additional needed qualification, knowledge and skills:         

• Strong understanding of IT concepts and ability to quickly grasp new acronyms and technologies
• Excellent written English language skills
• PC skills and proficiency in MS Office and MS Visio
• Knowledge of MS SharePoint and wiki systems is considered advantageous
• Detail-oriented, problem-solver, self-starter requiring minimal oversight, with flexibility and good follow-through skills
• Knowledge of proof-reading and type-setting standards
• Ability to interpret and follow page layout specifications
• Expertise in language style, accuracy and speed in reading detailed material
• Must possess excellent communication skills: written and oral
