We work with everything audio at Roku — Audio Quality Assurance (AQA), AV-sync testing, and wireless audio validation. Our team is a collection of Software Engineers and Electrical Technicians who love making solutions on how to test things. If there isn't a solution to a testing problem, we make it — both hardware and software. One of the things we're known for is our huge system setups for testing audio across TVs, soundbars, and headphones.
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Architect to help evolve our test automation capabilities from primarily AV-sync testing into broader Audio Quality (AQ) coverage across Roku TVs, soundbars, and headphones. You'll partner closely with the team lead to architect and advance our automation ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven innovation through our internal initiatives.
This role is best suited for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person who thrives in fast-paced environments. You should be comfortable working through ambiguity and adaptable enough to navigate evolving priorities while consistently delivering high-quality results.

As a Data Engineering Manager, you will lead across several cross-functional teams, managing up to ~10 data engineers and GIS specialists. You will support teams working on data processing and pipelines to enable ML-powered product capabilities.

We are looking for a Senior Quantum Field Engineer. As the CTO of Overstory, you will lead and scale a world-class engineering team that reduces the risk of wildfires and power outages around the world. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned engineering leader to help guide a commercially successful climate-tech company through its next stage of growth.
Following our Series B, we’re entering a phase of rapid expansion. You will define a compelling technical strategy and build the team to deliver it. We’re looking for a Director of Platform & Infrastructure to own and evolve our core engineering foundations. Reporting to our VP of Product Engineering, this role will lead SRE, MLOps, and Platform teams with a mandate to create leverage across the entire organization.
As a scaling startup, we’re evolving from early-stage infrastructure to a more mature, reliable platform that can support rapid product development and growing customer demand. This role is critical in helping us make that transition — building systems, standards, and teams that enable speed today while laying the foundation for long-term scale.

As a Senior Engineer, you will have a direct impact on the development of core geospatial products and internal data-processing and annotation tools at Overstory.
Your breadth of skills will allow you to set a technical vision for the development of the web applications, ETL pipelines, and backend services owned by these teams.

As a Staff Engineer, you will work across multiple teams to evolve a suite of web and internal tools that enable utility companies to more effectively manage risks associated with climate change and wildfires.
We are seeking improvement in the following areas:
At Overstory, our Staff Engineers are hands-on technical leaders whose influence extends beyond their team either through leading cross team initiatives, making technology choices for critical aspects of our technology platform or solving for critical technical challenges within teams enabling our business to achieve our rapid scaling plans (growing 3x YoY).
This role will start off being primarily team scoped solving critical scaling challenges. There is scope to expand remit as we grow.

We are now looking for a student assistant to work closely with our AI Lead on the design and prototyping of user-facing AI solutions.
This is a hands-on product design role at the intersection of AI, UX, interface craft, and rapid prototyping. This is not about designing screens that disappear into a folder.
