About Applied IntuitionWe are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. We are seeking a Government Affairs Associate to join our Government Affairs team. This role will help drive the company's executive and legislative strategies, shape external messaging, and support engagements in Congressional and Executive branches. Duties will include track legislation, policy and regulatory developments related to autonomy, defense technology, and physical AI; help develop the company’s positions and responses, support political and stakeholder engagement strategy; and represent the company in meetings with policymakers and other key external audiences. The role will have the opportunity to develop internal management processes, lead strategy discussions, and engage with Applied stakeholders.
Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.
Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.

What You’ll Do:
Archer is seeking a Federal Affairs Lead to serve as a key liaison on Capitol Hill. Based in Washington, D.C., you will be the "boots on the ground" responsible for navigating the complexities of the federal legislative environment. This is a junior to mid-level role designed for a self-starter who thrives in a high-autonomy environment—specifically our D.C. hub—and can navigate fast-paced environments.
