Job Description 

• Discussions with Client to get the User / Business Requirements 
• Translate User / Business Requirements to Technical Requirements 
• Design and develop responsive web applications using React.js as the primary frontend framework.
• Maintain and migrate minimal legacy components built in Angular.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect user interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle.
• Support backend development with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and REST APIs when necessary.
• Perform system integration with backend services and ensure efficient data exchange between layers.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with React.js (including Hooks, Redux, or Context API).
• Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL: writing complex queries, procedures, and optimizing performance.
• Solid working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with integrating React applications with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Basic understanding of Angular (for light maintenance or migration).
• Proficiency with Git, code versioning, and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Position Summary

Join MyFundedFutures as the next QA Engineer responsible for ensuring that every release that reaches production meets a high bar for quality, stability, and correctness. This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership. You are the gate between code-complete and thousands of users.

You will work closely with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria, have thorough manual test and debugging skills, own the staging environment, build and maintain automation coverage and drive a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility and QA is the last line of defence, not an afterthought.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the QA gate for every release - nothing reaches production without the QA sign-off.
• Radiate knowledge of the trading products and asset classes the platform supports — including equities, futures, and leveraged instruments — so that test coverage reflects real-world user behavior, risk scenarios, and edge cases that matter in live trading environments.
• Stay current with changes to supported asset classes, new product offerings, and evolving platform capabilities; proactively update test plans and regression coverage as the product horizon expands.
• Execute end-to-end regression across all release tickets, verifying against defined acceptance criteria.
• Conduct production smoke tests of every production deploy, validating critical paths are intact.
• Maintain a stable, predictable Staging environment that PM and product can rely on for UAT.
• Build, maintain, and extend the automated regression suite covering critical user journeys: account creation, trading flows, payouts, and authentication.
• Own E2E test coverage; partner with developers on integration and API test coverage.
• Integrate regression suites into CI pipelines so every RC build is automatically validated before manual testing begins.
• Drive automation coverage toward a state where manual regression is focused on new features, not re-testing known-good functionality.
• File all bugs in Jira with clear reproduction steps, environment details as defined.
• Triage and prioritise incoming bugs; communicate release-blocking issues to the product engineering team.
• RanWork with developers during code review to ensure testability, meaningful test coverage, and that new features include adequate unit and integration tests before reaching QA.
• Support PM UAT on Staging - answer environment questions, provide test data, and reproduce issues on demand.
• Maintain test plans, test case documentation, and regression checklists as the authoritative QA reference.
• Document recurring issues, environment quirks, and common failure patterns so knowledge is not locked in one person.

Qualifications

Required

• Working knowledge of trading markets and financial instruments, including equities, futures, and leveraged asset classes. You understand how these products behave, what failure modes look like from a trader's perspective, and why accuracy and timing are non-negotiable in a live trading context.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer on web and/or mobile software products with a structured, process-driven approach to release quality.
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated E2E test suites using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Solid understanding of the full QA lifecycle: test planning, regression execution, bug management, environment ownership, and release sign-off.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the ability to integrate test suites into automated build and release workflows.
• Experience with Jira or similar for bug tracking and release management
• Strong written communication skills - clear, precise bug reports and sign-off documentation are non-negotiable.
• Ability to work autonomously and alongside a team
• Reliable and thorough - you follow through, you don't rubber-stamp, and you treat the QA gate as a genuine responsibility.

Preferred

• Experience with React Native and/or Next.js web applications - familiarity with both mobile and web testing contexts.
• Background in fintech, trading platforms, or other regulated/high-stakes software environments where production quality is not negotiable.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar) and a solid understanding of REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Exposure to mobile testing via TestFlight and device-based regression for React Native applications.
• Familiarity with NX monorepos and multi-environment deployment pipelines (dev, staging, production).
• Experience maintaining QA documentation in Confluence or similar knowledge bases.
• Comfort operating across multiple products or teams simultaneously, helping manage parallel release cycles with independent cadences.

Purpose of Role

As MFFU seeks registration as an Introducing Broker (IB) and builds its own proprietary trading platform, the Head of Compliance will be responsible for ensuring that these initiatives meet all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. This includes navigating NFA registration processes, platform governance, and proactively embedding compliance into product development and customer onboarding processes.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Compliance will design, implement, and manage a comprehensive compliance management system that ensures adherence to applicable laws, rules, and industry standards. This leader will partner with executive management, product, trading operations, and risk teams to embed compliance into daily processes, enabling innovation while maintaining regulatory excellence.

This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for developing compliance frameworks that support MFFU’s growth, maintain regulatory integrity, and protect traders, partners, and the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Leadership

• Lead the design and ongoing management of MFFU’s enterprise compliance program, including policies, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Build and oversee a team responsible for operational compliance, AML/KYC, licensing, and risk governance.
• Ensure compliance with CFTC, NFA, and CME Group regulations and applicable futures and derivatives laws.
• Ensure compliance with know-your-customer (KYC), account supervision, risk disclosure, and segregation requirements applicable to IBs.
• Serve as the firm’s primary liaison with regulators, external auditors, and legal advisors.

Regulatory & Licensing Oversight

• Manage the firm’s registration and licensing obligations as an Introducing Broker, including NFA filings, annual renewals, and disclosures.
• Develop IB operational controls in coordination with partnered FCMs, including account reconciliation, customer complaint handling, and dispute resolution processes.
• Oversee partner relationships with FCMs, vendors, and service providers to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain required reporting and recordkeeping frameworks, ensuring readiness for regulatory examinations.

Compliance Program Development

• Develop, implement, and maintain policies related to trade surveillance, data protection, risk management, and conflicts of interest.
• Establish robust AML/KYC procedures aligned with futures and brokerage operations.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to embed “compliance by design” into platforms and workflows.
• Lead regular compliance training across all departments and promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency.
• Serve as the compliance stakeholder in the development of MFFU’s proprietary trading platform, ensuring integration of:
• Trade surveillance systems
• Customer data protection and retention protocols
• Regulatory reporting (e.g., NFA/CFTC)
• Risk management controls, including pre-trade risk checks and margin controls
• Partner with engineering, UX, and product teams to implement compliance-by-design architecture and user flows for onboarding, trading, and account management.
• Develop compliance protocols for algorithmic and automated trading strategies, including flagging suspicious or manipulative trading behavior.
• Oversee cybersecurity compliance in accordance with NFA/CFTC guidance and future SEC/CISA expectations as platform matures.
• Develop and maintain a compliance risk register for new products or platform features, including emerging risks like digital assets, API access, and automated trading.

Monitoring & Governance

• Review and interpret regulatory changes, ensuring timely communication and adaptation within the firm.
• Conduct internal audits and testing to identify, assess, and remediate compliance risks.
• Report key compliance risks and trends to the COO, CEO, and Board of Directors.
• Oversee investigation and remediation of compliance issues, ensuring documentation and corrective action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or related field required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or LLM) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within a futures, brokerage, or fintech organization.
• Deep knowledge of CFTC, NFA, and CME Group rules, futures industry regulations, and Introducing Broker operations.
• Proven success in building or scaling compliance frameworks within a regulated or transitioning financial entity.
• Strong understanding of AML/KYC requirements, trade surveillance systems, and data governance.
• Experience collaborating with regulators, auditors, and executive teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Series 3 and/or Series 30 licenses (or ability to obtain within 120 days).

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience registering or operating an Introducing Broker, CTA, or FCM entity.
• Exposure to algorithmic trading or electronic market infrastructure.
• CAMS, CRCM, or FRM certification is a plus.
• Direct involvement in building or managing compliance for a proprietary trading or brokerage platform
• Understanding of market data feeds, exchange integration, and pre/post-trade analytics
• Familiarity with trading technology stacks such as FIX, WebSocket, or REST APIs
• Experience with compliance tools such as Actimize, NICE, Refinitiv, or similar surveillance systems
