About This Role:
Hippo is hiring a Content Marketer who is equal parts brand steward and editorial storyteller with a project management backbone. This is a role for someone who lives branded content and keeps many moving pieces driving forward. This person will act as the connective tissue for content strategy across marketing. You’ll also serve as a highly visible cross-functional internal partner, maintaining editorial standards of excellence for content across the broader organization.
You’ll manage editorial planning and the development and tracking of content performance, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure content aligns with Hippo’s brand guidelines, legal requirements, and supports marketing and business goals. There are two tracks running simultaneously. Both require full ownership.
Track One: Founder Brand
You'll build and operate the content machine that turns our founder's expertise and point of view into a distributed, high-reach presence across every platform that matters.
The targets are ambitious on purpose. Audience growth here is measured in followers and subscribers, not impressions or pipeline influence metrics. You've chased numbers like this before. You know what it actually takes to move them.
Track Two: Human Agency Brand
In parallel, you'll build and maintain a consistent editorial voice for Human Agency as a company.
This is non-negotiable: you are obsessed with using AI to make yourself more productive, not to replace your judgment, but to multiply your output.
If AI is something you've been meaning to get around to, this isn't the place to figure it out. You should already be experimenting, building, and shipping with it.
You've lived in the creator economy. Not adjacent to it, but in it.
You might have built your own platform. Or you've been the engine behind someone else's (a founder, an investor, an executive) who now has a serious following. You're used to not getting full credit for that. You don't need the spotlight. You need to see the thing grow.
You're commercially wired from the start. You think about hooks, conversion, and distribution the way a marketer thinks about pipeline, obsessively, with data. You also have genuine editorial taste. The combination is what makes you unusual.

As a highly valued member of the operations team, you will have a proven track record within a previous AP Manager role in a Global organization. This hybrid role combines the skills of an assignment editor and a digital content producer and serves as the hub of the newsroom. As part of the Story Management Desk (SMD), a unified desk that replaces legacy assignment and digital desks, the Senior Story Desk Editor helps plan, produce and curate stories across streaming, digital, social and broadcast platforms.
Senior Story Desk Editors are experienced newsroom leaders who bring advanced editorial judgment, strong digital expertise and a deep understanding of audience behavior and analytics. You will lead coverage during breaking news, shape daily story planning and identify high-impact stories that serve the community.
This is a senior role on the story desk, working alongside Story Desk Editors to help drive daily coverage. While the role brings added expertise and leadership on the desk, it is not a people management position.

• Lead newsroom coverage during breaking news, ensuring accuracy, urgency and balance

• Strong news judgment and the ability to make fast, sound editorial decisions under pressure
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Experience with newsroom systems and digital publishing tools
