The Devices Hardware Engineering team is responsible for the core physical products that bring the Roku experience into millions of homes. We design and develop the industry-leading hardware that powers our ecosystem, including set-top boxes, streaming sticks, remotes, and innovative new devices. As a seasoned team of engineers, we focus on delivering high-performance, cost-effective, and reliable consumer electronics at a global scale. We are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to join the Devices Hardware Engineering team. Based in Shenzhen, you will be our team’s first EE hire in Asia, serving as a critical bridge between our headquarters and our manufacturing partners. You will develop and lead exciting new products (set-top boxes, streaming players, remotes) through the complete design lifecycle, from initial concept to mass production (MP).
The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-starting team player who can manage multiple projects and thrive during rapid development cycles. You will possess the expertise and determination to ensure projects stay on target regarding design, quality, schedule, and cost.

We are seeking a strategic Academic Account Representative to spearhead the adoption of Altium’s SaaS-based solutions (e.g., Altium Designer, Altium 365) across China’s education sector. A Day in The Life of Our Academic Account Representative
1. Academic Market Penetration & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute a sector-specific GTM strategy for China’s education market, focusing on SaaS adoption (institutional subscriptions, lab partnerships, student subscriptions).
Achieve annual sales targets by engaging key academic accounts (top engineering schools, vocational institutes) and add-value partners.
Support universities and institutions for Altium ecosystem cooperation and deployment
2. Curriculum Integration & Ecosystem Development
Co-design tailored training programs (workshops, certifications) to accelerate faculty/student proficiency in Altium’s cloud tools, addressing industry skill gaps.
Partner with MOE-affiliated bodies and industry alliances to embed Altium into national education standards and competitions.
Pilot innovative adoption models, such as cloud-based collaborative labs, to demonstrate scalable use cases.
Relationship creation with China ecosystem partners for Altium’s product and technology.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Product Teams to localize SaaS features (e.g., Chinese-language support, integration with domestic ed-tech platforms).
Provide market intelligence on China’s education trends (e.g., hybrid learning demand) to inform global product roadmaps.
Collaborate with Marketing to produce thought leadership content (case studies, white papers) showcasing Altium’s impact on employability.

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
Experience: 5+ years in academic technology sales, SaaS commercialisation, or PCB EDA technical support/training, preferably in engineering/STEM fields, or ecosystem marketing
Skills:
Strategic Selling: Ability to translate technical features into educational value.
Content creation: Ability to utilize global and local SaaS product resources to create education-related content and meet the requirements of Chinese stakeholders

About the Role
We are developing a modern cloud-based engineering and collaboration platform used by global hardware and product development teams. As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of a large-scale, feature-rich system. A Day in the Life
- Create clear, thorough test documentation for new features to ensure they meet functional and quality expectations.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs, usability issues, or inconsistencies before release.
- Perform extensive regression testing across multiple modules of the engineering platform to maintain product stability.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and improve overall quality processes.
- Participate in planning sessions to understand feature goals, risks, and test coverage needs.
- Analyze test results, produce detailed reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer working on complex or large-scale software systems.
- Strong experience testing web applications and distributed SaaS systems.
- Ability to write comprehensive test plans and work with test management platforms (e.g., TestRail).
- Solid understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies, QA processes, and SDLC best practices.
- Hands-on experience testing at the API level.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Knowledge of CI environments such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or TeamCity.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a Head of Hardware Operations. This person is a senior leader who has extensive experience leading their team in the new product development, manufacturing ramp and sustained production of high volume products. They possess the meticulous attention to detail that is needed to plan production and material readiness to ensure on-time delivery to aggressive forecasts. They have experience managing both the execution of and relationship with large contract manufacturing partners and components suppliers. This person will ensure that the cost of our products meet targets and drive even lower than that. The Supply Chain Lead will ultimately ensure that our supply chain excels in delivery of supply, flexibility and cost while doing so in a way that meets our quality bar.
A significant amount of this person’s time will be spent on-site at partner contract manufacturing facilities across the APAC region.
