As our Learning Technology Sr. Specialist, you are the strategic and operational owner of the learning technology ecosystem supporting the Commercial Organization. You’ll administer the Business Unit’s LMS end‑to‑end, and you’ll also own adjacent platforms that plug into or stand alongside the LMS—specifically our AI Role‑Playing/Simulation tool, Sales Enablement Platform (e.g., Cornerstone, Mindtickle, or a bespoke solution), our Knowledge Base, and Content Management System.
You will partner across Sales, Service, Field Ops, Marketing, HR/People, IT/SecOps, and Compliance to deliver mobile‑first, retail-ready learning that is reliable, measurable, and tied to business outcomes like time‑to-ramp, conversion rates, first-time-fix, shrink reduction, and CSAT/NPS. Your superpower is translating operational needs into scalable system configurations, clean data flows, and insightful dashboards the business actually uses.

AvidXchange is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build best-in-class products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Product and Architecture, to analyze, design, develop, test, maintain, and implement premier software solutions.
What You’ll Do
Perform full life cycle application development, enhancement, research, and proof of concepts.
Participate in both low-level and high-level application design, providing guidance and feedback on available technology options.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement API integrations for seamless data exchange.
Develop and maintain modern pipelines leveraging data streaming and APIs to support various business applications.
Implement event-driven architectures to enhance real-time data processing and streamline data flows for timely decision-making.
Implement cross-domain solutions, including integration patterns for customer-facing, operational, and analytic systems, along with workflows, policies, support, and reporting associated with enterprise MDM capabilities.

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of .NET software development experience creating SaaS-based applications.
Strong knowledge of .NET 8.0, C#, Visual Studio, WCF, AJAX, HTML, ESB (Neuron a plus), Kendo UI, SSIS/T-SQL, jQuery, JSON, MVC 4/5, Entity Framework.
Experience with SOA, web services, REST, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, and XML.
Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs, leveraging events, messaging systems, and ETL processes.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Hub.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Location: This position is based onsite at our Charlotte, NC Headquarters.
As a Software Development Engineer III at Palmetto, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling critical platform services using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React.js, Node.js). You’ll work hands-on across the stack, with a stronger emphasis on server-side architecture and API development, while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teammates.
This role is ideal for a passionate, growth-minded engineer who thrives in an Agile environment, brings ideas to the table, and has the technical depth to contribute to platform evolution and system scalability.
You’ll work alongside, not for, other team members – contributing your ideas, code, and energy to shape solutions that drive business outcomes and customer satisfaction.
