How we hire

Our Fincrime team⭐
We’re looking for a brilliant Financial Crime Business Banking Senior Manager to drive forward our strategy for Monzo’s Business Bank. You’ll manage a fantastic group of FinCrime Analysts working in cross-functional teams to build and iterate controls, maximising financial crime prevention while delivering best in class customer experience.
We need someone who really understands the Financial Crime regulatory framework, products and crime typologies for Business Banking, and has expert knowledge in how to develop controls to ensure Monzo remains compliant and can most effectively detect and prevent all types of Financial Crime. You’ll be an exceptional stakeholder manager, bringing others along on a journey to deliver huge impact. You’ll be an incredible people manager who cares deeply about people development and coaching. You’ll thrive on delivering through others and will pour effort into your people to get the best possible results.
You should know that we fight Financial Crime a little differently at Monzo. Your team will work with dedicated Financial Crime engineers, data scientists and machine learning experts, which helps us to spot, assess and prevent crime quickly. We choose not to split out different areas of crime, either. Instead we tackle all Financial Crime together as one team. That includes AML, fraud, sanctions breaches, terrorist financing, bribery and corruption and tax evasion.

About the role..
As Senior Market Research Manager, you’ll build and lead a team of Market Researchers embedded across Monzo. While you scale the team, you’ll be hands-on in delivering the deep customer and market insights that shape our product and growth strategies. You’ll champion robust market research and scale its impact to help us make money work for everyone. While our existing team excels at understanding our current users, you will be the expert on the non-user and the wider market, bridging the gap between where we are today and where we want to grow.

Within CIF, we are scaling up our Forecasting modelling and execution team to support the rapid growth and evolution of our portfolio. This role is pivotal for the team as the successful candidate will help develop and further enhance our suite of forecasting and stress testing models across both well established and emerging products. Additionally the successful individual will have a key role in executing these models across high profile budgeting & stress-test exercises and building up our toolkit to quantify the impact of various strategic decisions for senior management.
Strong data and analytical skills are a must, as is experience in credit risk modelling. Prior experience developing credit risk forecasting models is desirable, but relevant model development / validation experience in IRB modelling, IFRS9 or scorecard models will also be considered. Experience as a ‘model user’ of forecasting models in the context of budgeting or stress-testing would be helpful but is not required.

This role will have day-to-day responsibility for advising on commercial contracts, IP & AI matters for our UK business. You’ll lead on a wide range of legal matters with opportunities for growth in role as the business scales.

About the role:
The mission of Borrowing Machine Learning Scientists is to improve the customer and business outcomes through better automated decisioning, using Machine Learning and statistical modelling. We have a primary focus in credit risk modelling, with our expertise also applied to predict and optimise utilisation, pricing, collection and marketing.
You will be taking a hands-on technical leadership role, managing a small team of Senior ML Scientists. With in-depth knowledge and experience in the credit industry, you’ll drive innovations by identifying new opportunities of data and ML applications, and delivering business values across multiple Borrowing products. You’ll have a close relationship with leaders across Credit Strategy, Products, Model Validation and Engineers, with whom you will drive and influence strategic decisions and product roadmaps. You’ll also have the opportunities to work with external data suppliers and industry peers, to push the innovation frontiers for the credit industry.
With excellent technical skills, you’ll also spearhead the continuous development of our toolings, methodologies, and processes, to empower the team to build better models easier and faster. About the role
The mission of Borrowing ML Scientists is to improve the customer and business outcomes through better automated decisioning, using Machine Learning and Statistical modelling. We have a primary focus in credit risk modelling, with our expertise also applied to predict and optimise utilisation, pricing, collection and marketing.
You will be working alongside a team of very experienced and highly efficient ML Scientists, with well established toolings for the fully lifecycle of ML models. Each of you owns multiple ML applications end-to-end, from experiment design and data curation, to deployment and monitoring. You will be empowered to innovate in the data, methodologies and toolings, so we can build better models easier and faster.
You will have exposure to all Borrowing products and applications, with autonomy to decide what are the most impactful topics to work on, and how to deliver them. You will work closely with our Credit Strategy Managers, Model Validation Analysts, Backend Engineers, and Product Managers, to fit your model development into the product roadmap. You are also empowered to think big about the business, market and customers, to influence our product and credit strategy beyond just the world of models.

About our Capital, Impairments & Forecasting Team
Our Capital, Impairments & Forecasting team sits at the intersection of our Borrowing and Finance collectives, responsible for developing, executing and managing the models used to calculate IFRS 9 ECL, and credit risk capital through the annual ICAAP. We work alongside our first line credit teams who design the products, decide who to lend to, set underwriting policy, identify customers who need help, manage the portfolio and report and measure credit risk.
We are scaling up our Impairments modelling team to support the rapid growth and evolution of our portfolio. This role is pivotal for the team as the successful candidate will help develop and further enhance our suite of IFRS 9 models (PD, LGD, EAD, macroeconomic models) across both well established and emerging products. Additionally the successful individual will have oversight of model performance, construction of PMAs/model overlays where required, model implementation, and impairment analytics for senior management.
Strong data and analytical skills are a must, as is experience in credit risk modelling and IFRS 9 provision methodology. Prior experience developing IFRS 9 models is desirable, but model development experience in IRB modelling, stress testing or scorecard models will also be considered.

The Operations Collective is where we design how help and customer support works at Monzo. We think holistically about the experience of getting support as a customer, and how that connects to the systems, tools, and people behind the scenes.
We’re focused on delivering effortless, tech-led support experiences that can scale as Monzo grows. That means understanding customer problems deeply, preventing support needs where possible, solving issues at their source within the product, and designing seamless journeys whether customers self-serve or speak to a customer support agent.
AI and automation play a central role, empowering customers to resolve simpler issues independently, and equipping our operations teams with intelligent tools to handle more complex cases with confidence and speed. We design across the full ecosystem: customer journeys, internal platforms, routing, and the foundations that enable us to scale safely.

About our Engineering Teams:
We have around 600 engineers out of roughly 5,000 people in total - and we have big ambitions. There are many interesting challenges ahead, and we're happy for people to move between teams or to specialise, whatever you prefer. As an engineer here you'd be able to work directly with anyone across the company, and we run regular knowledge-sharing sessions so you’ll learn heaps about everything from how banks work to effective communication.

Social Media Manager - Wales
Reform UK is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and grow our digital presence across Wales. You will own our social channels, shape online messaging, and turn engagement into political momentum for Britain’s biggest political party.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a clear, growth-focused social media strategy.
- Create daily content across X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Deliver rapid-response content reacting to Welsh political developments.
- Grow audiences, increase engagement, and support voter and supporter acquisition.
- Track performance analytics and optimise content for maximum reach and impact.
Requirements:
- Experience managing political or campaign-focused social media accounts.
- Basic knowledge of editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar). Graphic design or motion skills are a plus, but not essential.
- Strong understanding of Welsh politics and media.
- Excellent copywriting and short-form video skills.
- Confident working in a fast-paced, politically charged environment.
- A strong commitment to the values and mission of Reform UK.
This is a hands-on role with direct impact on Reform UK’s Wales' growth and electoral success.
