Security & Compliance Engineering

• Embed cloud security and technology security best practices into all automation solutions (identity, secrets, least privilege, logging, secure configuration baselines). 
• Partner with Security teams to ensure automation aligns with enterprise security requirements and audit expectations. 
• Ensure changes are traceable and auditable through source control and deployment records. 
•  Apply a strong foundation in cloud network theory to ensure automation processes are designed with a private networking first priority.

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of infrastructure reliability and developer experience. You will not only maintain the scalability of our Kubernetes based cloud environment but also work collaboratively on the shift toward a self-service platform model.

We are hiring an Engineering Manager for our Processing team to lead Lithic's next phase of growth.

The Processing team builds and maintains the real-time interfaces between Lithic and external payment networks. Every card authorization, clearing message, and settlement file flows through systems this team owns. The team manages both online and batch transaction flows across Mastercard, Visa, and Amex, along with transaction enrichment, disputes processing, and network compliance. The systems we maintain have strict latency and uptime requirements, because they sit on the critical path for every card transaction. The team also manages the physical network peering with card network partners, so infrastructure and networking expertise are important. The team primarily uses Java, Python, and Kotlin on AWS.

Grafana Cloud k6 is built around the OSS k6 and targeted at users looking to run performance tests at scale. • 4-7 years' experience demonstrating above average ability in any 4 of the following areas of offensive security: Network, Wireless, Cloud, Web, Mobile, API Assessments, Source Code Review, Red Teaming, Social Engineering
• Thorough understanding of network protocols, data on the wire, client-server model, application design and architecture, and different classes of application security flaws
• Proven proficiency in one modern scripting language like Python or Go
• Relevant application penetration testing certifications such as Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) certification, GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), or equivalent mobile/web certification
• Participation in web hacking challenges, competitions or bug bounties

The Role

As a Data Engineer at BeyondTrust, you will help build and enhance our data lake which currently consumes billions of events each day. You will leverage state-of-the-art data engineering tools to create cost-effective cloud solutions that enable next-level cybersecurity research. You will enhance and optimize our existing infrastructure and develop new data assets to drive additional business value. 

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of data modelling to solve complex identity security problems.
• Solve complex analytical problems across disparate systems to provide a unified view of security posture in the datalake
• Optimize data workloads at a software level by improving processing efficiency. 
• Identify opportunities for engineering process improvement and collaborate with senior resources to execute a plan of action.
• Use monitoring and observability best practices to ensure optimal pipeline performance.
• Assist with ML Operations to ensure optimal model efficiency.
• Leverage CI/CD best practices to effectively develop and release source code. 

What You’ll Bring

• Strong programming and technology knowledge in cloud data processing. 
• Spark experience is needed, existing Databricks knowledge is a plus. 
• Interest and aptitude for cybersecurity; interest in identity security is highly preferred.  
• Technical understanding of underlying systems and computation minutiae.
• Experience working with distributed systems and data processing on object stores.
• Ability to work autonomously

• Required: Data warehousing for analytics use cases
• Required: Highly proficient in Python (or another object orientated language)
• Required: Distributed processing framework experience

• You will be a senior technical authority within the Loyalty & Virality tribe — setting architectural direction, driving technical excellence, and mentoring engineers across the team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with significant influence over how we scale our referral and virality systems globally

• Strong experience with microservice architecture, event-driven systems (ie: Kafka, RabbitMQ), and distributed architectural patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, as well as CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency with relational and document databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or MongoDB.
• AI proficiency and advocacy. Hands-on familiarity with AI technologies and a track record of championing their adoption, whether through AI-assisted development workflows, ML-driven product features, or leveraging LLMs to accelerate team productivity.
• Proficiency or hands-on production experience in Golang or Python
