We're looking for a Manager, Software Developer to join our team. Our managers take on a player/coach role, balancing technical leadership, execution, and people management. The primary responsibility of Developer Managers is to build and develop strong teams while ensuring high-impact results. We empower engineers to take ownership of problems and support them with mentorship, guidance, and business context.
As a Manager, Software Developer, you will:
- Drive team impact by fostering high technical productivity and reliability.
- Cultivate a healthy, results-driven, and collaborative team culture.
- Represent the team in engineering-wide planning, initiatives, and processes.
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape our technical roadmap and solve problems that improve the patient and doctor experience.
- Set and communicate clear team objectives that align with Counterpart's company goals and roadmap.
- Lead hiring, development, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team.

The Ideal Previous Work Experience
- You have a minimum of 2 years experience in clinic and love all things wellness, medicine, surgery and dentistry
- Medical competence: able to diagnose and treat infectious, inflammatory, metabolic, degenerative, physiologic and environmental disease
Urgent care: able to triage and stabilize urgent/emergent cases before referring
- Surgical competence: feline spay and neuter, canine spay and neuter (including mature and large breed), cryptorchid neuter, umbilical hernia repair, mass removals, cystotomy, laceration repair, eyelid surgery, enucleation, gastropexy (ideally)
- Dental competence: charting, reading XR, gingival flaps, burring and sectioning, extractions, closing extraction sites (ideally)
- Comfort with POCUS and abdominal ultrasound a plus

Compensation for this position
Juno Veterinary is committed to compensating our team members fairly, competitively and with clarity to support you in your growth! This role has a salary/hourly compensation range of $130,000 to $170,000 per year. There is a bonus component applicable for this role that presents the opportunity for additional earnings on top of your base salary starting at 10% , We’re going to keep it real with you. This range reflects the variations in experience and skillset an individual could possess within this role, as well as the growth and experience that would be needed to meet the top end of the range. (i.e., from building your skills, to becoming accomplished, to being highly proficient, all the way to achieving excellence in this role).

THE JOB

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Answer medical questions over the phone
- See patients right away as part of the VEG Triage and VEG Spikes, our unique, customer-centered way of doing things—like ensuring people see a doctor right away and allowing families to stay with their pets
- Gather the signalment, presenting complaint, vitals, and physical exam
- Conduct physical examinations of animals, along with other required investigatory measures such as ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies
- Complete a diagnosis of each pet's condition to create a diagnostic and therapeutic plan
- Communicate diagnosis and treatment options directly with customers
- Prepare estimates and present them to customers
- Create and review medical records to ensure accuracy
- Demonstrate the value of tests and treatments performed by speaking with the customer and addressing their concerns
- Perform minor and major emergency surgeries
- Perform endoscopic procedures
- Educate customers on aftercare and preventative measures where appropriate
WHAT YOU NEED
- A DVM degree or equivalent
- Must be licensed by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario
- Thrive in team-oriented environments (think hospital retreats, team dinners, happy hours, and more)
- A “glass half full” attitude and a sense of humor!
- Live and breathe emergency medicine
- Fulfilled by helping others
- Passionate about emergency surgery (the soft tissue kind!) and endoscopy
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor as well as ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and able to support up to 40 kg with assistance.
- Must be willing to work in a noisy environment with strong or unpleasant odors.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as needed basis based on hospital demands.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

About you
- Juris Doctor or Canadian LL.B./J.D. equivalent
- 7 years of experience in private practice and/or in-house at a fast-growing or publicly traded company with a primary focus on employment law and corporate matters relating to Canada and the United States.
- Employment litigation experience (e.g., wrongful dismissal, human rights complaints, agency proceedings) required.
- Knowledge of UK, Dutch, or Israeli employment law is a plus; willingness to learn is equally valued.
- Experience with equity compensation and employee benefit plans, including Canadian and US stock option laws and equity grant structures for private companies, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the business acumen to advise and influence C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders, paired with a solid sense of humor and genuine relationship-building skills.

The Ideal Previous Work Experience
- You have a minimum of 5 years experience in clinic and love all things wellness, medicine, surgery and dentistry
- Medical competence: able to diagnose and treat infectious, inflammatory, metabolic, degenerative, physiologic and environmental disease
- Urgent care: able to triage and stabilize urgent/emergent cases before referring
- Surgical competence: feline spay and neuter, canine spay and neuter (including mature and large breed), cryptorchid neuter, umbilical hernia repair, mass removals, cystotomy, laceration repair, eyelid surgery, enucleation, gastropexy
- Dental competence: charting, reading XR, gingival flaps, burring and sectioning, extractions, closing extraction sites
- Comfort with POCUS and abdominal ultrasound a plus

Juno Veterinary is committed to compensating our team members fairly, with clarity and of course, with their growth in mind! This role has a salary/hourly compensation range of $170,000 to $200,000 per year.
Let’s break it down to keep it real, this is a wide range. This range reflects the variations in experience and skillset an individual could possess within this role, as well as the growth that would be needed to meet the top end of the range.
Someone newer to their career in vet med, and specifically in this role, would get started at our lower end of this range. This means that we see your amazing potential and think you’d be a great fit within the team, and we acknowledge that we will have to work together to get you additional experience and skillset to grow further.

DVMs are the clinic captains. An important source of professional mentorship, our Doctors of Veterinary Medicine supervise treatment and ensure clinical excellence.

The Ideal Previous Work Experience
- You have a minimum of 5 years experience in clinic and love all things wellness, medicine, surgery and dentistry
- Medical competence: able to diagnose and treat infectious, inflammatory, metabolic, degenerative, physiologic and environmental disease
- Urgent care: able to triage and stabilize urgent/emergent cases before referring
- Surgical competence: feline spay and neuter, canine spay and neuter (including mature and large breed), cryptorchid neuter, umbilical hernia repair, mass removals, cystotomy, laceration repair, eyelid surgery, enucleation, gastropexy
- Dental competence: charting, reading XR, gingival flaps, burring and sectioning, extractions, closing extraction sites
- Comfort with POCUS and abdominal ultrasound a plus
- You have a strong interest in leadership, previous leadership experience a plus

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage medical safety reports and medical quality
- Shadow appointments and review medical records with the intent to mentor as needed
- Have consistent 1:1s with DVMs to coach them on medicine, surgery, dentistry, member experience and team communication
- Partner with PM to support medical operational efficiency, member experience, and team development
- Meetings - regular cadence of meetings with your DVMs, PM, leads, the NMD, other LDVMs
- Annual DVM reviews and development planning
- You want to use your DVM status to its highest level in medicine, surgery and dentistry, and as a leader in the clinic
- Primarily responsible for your own patients - appointments, procedures, interpreting lab work, prescribing medication, following up; similar follow ups on clinic patients when primary vet is not in the clinic or available; Timely completion of charting and tasks expected
- Forge connections between members and Juno through positive client experience by way of proactive client plan formulation, small conflict resolution, thoroughness and efficiency
- Actively participate in all team meetings to improve overall medical quality
- Coach and support inexperienced doctors and support team members
- Develop positive relationships with the team
- Clearly and efficiently communicate wants / needs with the support team and leadership team

Compensation for this position
Juno Veterinary is committed to compensating our team members fairly, with clarity and of course, with their growth in mind! This role has a salary/hourly compensation range of $170,000 to $200,000 per year.
Let’s break it down to keep it real, this is a wide range. This range reflects the variations in experience and skillset an individual could possess within this role, as well as the growth that would be needed to meet the top end of the range.
Someone newer to their career in vet med, and specifically in this role, would get started at our lower end of this range. This means that we see your amazing potential and think you’d be a great fit within the team, and we acknowledge that we will have to work together to get you additional experience and skillset to grow further.
Someone more established as a veterinary professional would start closer to the top end of our range. We recognize that this isn’t your first rodeo! Your values and mission align closely with ours and you bring a strong skillset that will be a huge asset in our growth together!
This role is located in Toronto at our Eglinton clinic and reports directly to the National Medical Director. This role is currently vacant and ready to be filled.

What you will do
While having a ton of fun, you’ll be responsible for: member engagement, member retention, new member recruitment, and product sales - all while working flexible hours!
Here’s a quick snapshot of what you can expect:
- Deliver an exceptional workshop experience while engaging members with the weekly behavior change curriculum to support their journey.
- Build strong connections in the community on social platforms and seek opportunities to build on-brand partnerships, attract new members, and create brand awareness, representing WW at internal and external community events.
- Focus on member recruitment and retention by relationship building with members and providing them the support, tools or products they need to be successful.

We are seeking a Debt Capital Markets Counsel to join our Corporate and Securities team. This role centres on bond issuances, capital-raising transactions, and covenant structuring, with a focus on high-yield and international debt offerings. We are looking for a hands-on attorney with deep expertise in Canadian securities law and SEC regulations governing debt securities, including experience advising on credit ratings, debenture offerings, and complex financing structures. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience executing transactions under the Securities Act of 1933, including high-yield bonds, Rule 144A offerings, Eurobonds, and EMTN programs, along with robust transactional and regulatory capabilities across the debt capital markets lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating bond offering documents, indentures, debentures, offering memoranda, and related covenant packages.
- Providing legal guidance on Canadian securities law and SEC regulations governing bond issuances, capital-raising strategies, and covenant structuring.
- Collaborating with issuers, underwriters, internal finance teams, and external counsel on high-yield, investment-grade, and cross-border debt capital markets transactions.
- Managing securities law, disclosure, and covenant compliance issues for clients in corporate and financial institution sectors.
- Staying ahead of debt capital markets trends and regulatory developments under the Securities Act of 1933 to provide proactive, business-oriented counsel.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in debt capital markets, securities law, or related corporate finance practices.
- Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, bond offerings, covenant structures, and credit rating considerations.
- Proven track record of advising clients on high-yield bond transactions, Rule 144A offerings, and international debt issuances.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
Preferred Skills:

Compensation:
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
