What the Role Is
Registry is the heart of Babylist – and the primary way in which we help growing families feel prepared and confident during one of the most consequential transitions of their lives. It is also the acquisition and commercial engine that powers the rest of our business.
We're hiring a leader to own it.
This role is the durable commercial and product owner for the Registry experiences. You are accountable for the strategy, vision, KPIs, and quality bar. You take bold bets, knowing how to push past safe incrementalism on a mature surface and make the case for step-function moves — and you know how to sequence them so the team isn't betting the business on any one, prioritizing speed to learning. You are the steady advocate for what's right for the customer and what will compound for the next decade. You are the person the rest of the company looks to when a question about Registry has to get answered.
You are also an AI-enabled builder.
This is a dual job. Own Registry the way the best product leader would: deeply, commercially, with a high bar and a strong point of view. And help Babylist make the transition into AI-native product development. We are looking for someone who is energized by both halves — and probably frustrated by jobs that only let them do one.
This role reports to the VP of Consumer Product, and is an important member of the cross-functional Consumer Tech Leadership team. You will lead a team of 3–4 Product Managers, as a player-coach, and partner closely with stakeholders across the entire organization.

As Babylist’s Senior Engineering Manager, Machine Learning & Discovery+Site Monetization, you’ll lead the team driving the next era of our machine learning and personalization efforts across the product. This is a hands-on leadership role for a manager who remains technically fluent while scaling people, systems, and impact. You’ll manage and grow a high-performing ML-focused pod spanning product recommendations, search, PLPs, and site monetization, with a clear mandate: maximize revenue and user value across surface areas through personalization.
You’ll guide the team on technical direction behind our homepage feed, “add next” experience, and other core personalization surfaces, while building the foundations for long-term ML excellence at Babylist.

As a Data Engineering Manager, you will lead across several cross-functional teams, managing up to ~10 data engineers and GIS specialists. You will support teams working on data processing and pipelines to enable ML-powered product capabilities.
Our product teams are cross functional and will typically include product managers, designers, engineers and subject matter experts relating to the team’s domain.
You will be accountable for the technical direction and delivery outcomes of your area. You will challenge your teams to pursue ambitious goals while providing a high level of support — growing engineering talent and fostering a highly collaborative, team-based environment where people can do great work.
Your primary focus will be on building high-performing teams and driving results through others. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll bring and develop:
Master Commerce Domains: Leverage deep expertise in catalog management, subscriptions, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and tax compliance to build robust, scalable financial systems.
Define Platform Strategy: Architect the roadmap for a "commerce-as-a-service" model by developing primitives (metering, rating, and entitlement APIs) that enable internal teams to launch products with minimal bespoke engineering.

Champion Accuracy & Trust: Drive platform initiatives that provide customers with granular visibility into their usage, reducing billing inquiries and fostering long-term trust through financial integrity.
Bridge Cross-Functional Gaps: Act as the strategic link between Engineering, Finance, and GTM by translating complex financial requirements into scalable technical specifications and communicating platform guardrails early.
Integrate AI Capabilities: Embed AI into the commerce platform, such as, billing optimization, anomaly detection, rating logic, and automating internal administrative and reporting activities.
Lead Forensic Discovery: Conduct deep-dive investigations into the most complex parts of the commerce lifecycle, untangling legacy systems and technical debt to provide the organization with clear paths forward.
Embed Data-Driven Decisioning: Drive system reliability and business outcomes by using analytics to guide prioritization and fostering a culture of continuous experimentation and learning.

As an Applied Analytics Lead at Overstory, you will play a critical role in linking our customer impact, data analytics, and product direction. We’re looking for a Director of Platform & Infrastructure to own and evolve our core engineering foundations. Reporting to our VP of Product Engineering, this role will lead SRE, MLOps, and Platform teams with a mandate to create leverage across the entire organization.

That’s where we help. At Overstory, we use AI and advanced satellite imagery to pinpoint and prioritize vegetation risks before they materialize. By giving utilities critical analysis on those risks, we’re helping prevent outages, reduce wildfire risks, and accelerate the transition to a safer, more resilient grid.

Our engineering team is growing! We are looking for multiple senior full stack engineers to join our web product team(s) and help us scale our product suite.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Overstory, you will have a direct impact on our mission by building new capabilities and features that in turn enable utility companies to more effectively manage risks associated with climate change, wildfires and storms. We will also look to you to effectively partner with product, design and tech leads on key initiatives and mentor other engineers from time to time.

We are a group of 100 people from all over the world. Fifteen nationalities are represented in our team and at last count we speak fourteen languages: English, Dutch, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Luxembourgish, Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Cantonese, Estonian, and Danish.
We work remotely from eleven countries and are looking for candidates that are living and working in one of them: United States, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Estonia, Portugal, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark and Canada. We gather once a year in-person for our unforgettable team gathering event. We also offer the option to occasionally meet up for in-person collaboration.
