Senior Manager, Sourcing - Soft Home (CN/SEA)

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager specializing in Bedding to lead our sourcing efforts across China and Southeast Asia (SEA). • Provide expert-level onsite solutions to technical bottlenecks encountered during wash development and execution.
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks in both development and production stages.
• Support vendors with actionable process adjustments to ensure reproducibility and bulk consistency.

       3. Training and Capability Building:

• Develop and implement technical training programs for factory washing teams.
• Establish and maintain a structured “Quince Wash Standard” and technical SOPs across regions.
• Build and continuously update the “Quince Denim Recipe Library” — a centralized reference of approved wash formulas, parameters, and outcomes — to ensure reproducibility, enhance efficiency, and maintain aesthetic consistency across all vendors.
• Promote sustainable washing practices, chemical efficiency, and water-saving initiatives

       4. Process Control and Consistency: Onsite Collaboration:

• Monitor and evaluate wash performance across vendors to ensure consistent hand-feel, shade, and appearance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of wash-related quality issues and lead corrective actions.

       5. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Reporting:

• Maintain effective written and verbal communication in English, directly liaising with U.S.-based merchants and cross-functional teams.
• Provide timely updates and reports on wash progress, challenges, and outcomes to Sourcing and PDs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in denim wash development and execution, with onsite factory experience.
  • Proven track record of working with premium denim brands known for high-quality, innovative finishes (e.g., Levi’s, AG Jeans, Frame, or similar).
• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of denim wash processes, including dry and wet processing washings.
• Onsite Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize wash processes onsite, working directly with factory teams.
• Language Proficiency: Strong English skills (written and verbal) to communicate effectively with merchants , sourcing/PD.
• Problem Solving: Advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex wash issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in training and mentoring factory teams to enhance technical capabilities.

THE ROLE

Sourcing Manager - Men's Outerwear (SEA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scout for vendor partners in China/Hong Kong or SEA who can manufacture high quality Men's Outerwear products with fast production lead time
• Pitching and on-boarding vendor partners in speed. This should be done with clear criteria around the initial test period and ensuring their ability to scale, if the test period is successful.
• Drive excellence in partner operations for existing supplier relationships within current Quince categories, while expanding a redundant supplier base  improving Quince's product costs, quality, and commercial terms for sustainable sales and profitability
• Manage capacity at a supplier and style level to keep pace with company growth and scale
• Material Sourcing: Resource in speed any materials that can effectively improve product cost, quality and speed as options for scaling order. Have experience negotiating with suppliers throughout the supply chain from T1 to T2 & T3 (as needed)  mill/ vendor partners.
• Open costing expertise: Have solid open costing breakdown experience from brand or manufacturer side to build a clear strategy for costing negotiations; able to construct a validated cost structure/ template to negotiate with vendor partners without relying on vendor data only.
• Act as an Ambassador to our partners in all interactions, building and deepening our relationships Continuous improvement
• Drive for higher hit-rate launches (reviews, returns, sales) through product excellence and drive for faster development times by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions
• Have a clear strategic, commercial understanding of the sourcing landscape and trade benefits that can improve product costs and speed of product to market destined for the USA, Canada, and Europe as an asset. 
• Lead at 30,000 ft and 3000 ft involving a diverse set of stakeholders from different functions and nationalities.  Be willing to be scrappy at times to improve on existing ways of working and redefining new processes and SOP for faster speed and continuous improvement.
