• Support development of digitally optimized manufacturing capabilities

What You Bring to the Team

• BS or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (advanced degree or MBA preferred)  
• 10+ years in engineering and/or manufacturing environments
• 3+ years leading technical teams in wire harness, cable assembly, or electro-mechanical systems
• Strong understanding of wire harness design, manufacturability, and production processes
• Experience with ECAD/wire harness design tools (Cadonix Arcadia preferred)
• Knowledge of automated processing, assembly, testing equipment, and regulated manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with aerospace, defense, medical, or industrial quality standards and ITAR environments
• Proven ability to build scalable systems and operational processes
• Strong customer-facing technical communication skills
• Experience managing fast-paced, high-iteration customer programs
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Demonstrated use of data and leading indicators to drive business outcomes
• Experience with project management, ERP/MES, and PLM/PDM systems
• Comfortable using AI and digital tools to improve productivity and decision-making

Compensation Range: The base salary range for this position is $138,000 – $ 208,000 per year. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own customer success through the design and delivery of a multi-year, multi-stakeholder software roadmap that spans across multiple teams

ArsenalOS is the digital backbone of Anduril’s hardware enterprise. It connects the full lifecycle, from concept to build to field feedback, into one operating environment built for speed, traceability, autonomy, and continuous improvement. That environment includes not just the software used to design, plan, and execute work, but also the factory-facing infrastructure that connects operators, machines, test systems, and OT networks into the same adaptive Build Chain. ABOUT THE JOB:

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our QualityOS team within Forge MES (Manufacturing Execution System). As a Staff Engineer, you will set the technical direction and architectural standards. You'll architect and implement mission-critical distributed systems that scale Anduril's manufacturing operations while maintaining the technical bar for reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Your impact will span beyond the immediate team. You'll serve as a technical bridge between the QualityOS product team and our Platform/Foundations organization, ensuring we build on solid infrastructure while influencing platform capabilities to meet manufacturing needs. • Define and drive technical architecture for QualityOS - make decisions on system design, scalability patterns, integration strategies, and platform vs. build tradeoffs that shape team execution
• Architect and implement complex distributed systems - build mission-critical services, APIs, and tooling that enable safe, fast delivery across manufacturing quality workflows
• Lead by example with engineering excellence - establish patterns through hands-on work: comprehensive testing, deployment safety (blue/green/canary), infrastructure as code, observability, and operational rigor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 12+ years of experience in a software engineering role building products in fast-paced environments
• Proven ability to influence technical direction across teams - drive architectural consensus, build alignment, and lead technical initiatives beyond a single team
• Experience working with large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements
• Strong full-stack capabilities with expertise in modern web technologies - JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and web frameworks (Next.js, Remix, etc.)
• User-focused engineering mindset - ability to translate user needs into technical solutions while balancing user experience with engineering constraints
• Excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders, translate ambiguous requirements and build cross-team alignment.
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Platform Security Engineering (PSE) team builds security into Anduril's products from architecture through production. Key Responsibilities

About The Role

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Act as a technical leader on a small team owning software for Copperhead

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics

As a Principal Engineer within the Platform Engineering group, you will serve as the primary architect for Motional’s global cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
