Position Description:
Precision for Medicine develops assays and runs global logistics by using biomarkers to stratify patients, incomparably improving R&D efficiency and success for our clients. We lead every aspect of clinical trials from sites to biomarkers to diagnostics, all under a single roof. We dramatically accelerate our clients' pathway from proof of concept to drug approval.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desired. Degree in computer science or related fields preferred.
Work Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in solutioning and delivering software products/solutions including experience in planning and execution.
- 3+ years of experience in leading the development and implementation of business initiatives and products/projects.
- Proven experience building and delivering high scale, secure platforms (custom developed and off the shelf)
- Experience with cloud-hosted technologies and cloud services (Azure, AWS S3 bucket, Google, Log management of the application like ELK)
- Experience working with a team following Agile software development lifecycle practices
- Experience with debugging tools like developer tools, SQL profiler etc.,
- Experience working with various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- Experience of the following tools and technologies: Angular, DevExpress, SQL Server, ASP.Net C#, Windows, DACPAC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SSIS and .net core api,
- Experience with Web-Based Development Frameworks such as ASP.NET, WebForms, MVC, Angular, React, Node.js
- Experience working with BitBucket, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar systems for software development
- Lifecycle management, source control, branching, and/or CI/CD pipelines
- Expert with database concepts, data modeling, and data management and optimizing the SQL queries and stored procedures
Skills:
- Ability to drive, contribute, and support the execution of department vision.

- Build API endpoints, service classes, controllers, and reusable components for modular modernization.

- Work with designers/architects to modernize UI screens into Blazor while preserving functional parity.
- Develop microservices leveraging Azure capabilities like App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage.

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to drive technical excellence, architect complex systems, and elevate our engineering team. You will own critical technical decisions, lead major initiatives from conception to delivery, and set the standard for engineering quality across our products - primarily working with our .NET-based application portfolio, AWS and Windows infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, architecture, and enhancement of .NET applications and Windows-based systems
- Drive technical initiatives from requirements gathering through production deployment on on-premise and cloud infrastructure
- Make critical architectural decisions balancing performance, scalability, cost, and maintainability
- Optimize and maintain ASP.NET applications, Windows Server environments, and enterprise databases
- Debug and resolve complex production issues across the application stack
- Establish engineering best practices, security patterns, and quality standards for enterprise applications
- Good to have: Explore opportunities to integrate AI capabilities (MCP servers, RAG systems, agentic workflows) where they add value to existing applications
Required Qualifications
Tech Stack

- Deep experience with Windows Server administration, IIS, and on-premise application deployment
- Expert-level ASP.NET (Web Forms, MVC) and .NET Framework knowledge
- Advanced React and frontend architecture skills
- Extensive MSSQL and PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design
- Mastery of software design patterns, clean code practices, and refactoring techniques

Role & Responsibilities
- Convert legacy C++ and .NET 4.8 WinForms components into .NET Core-based microservices and Blazor UI modules. (Ref: PL/pgSQL → C# conversion patterns described in
- Rewrite PL/SQL-based business logic into C# using EF Core and clean service-oriented architecture.
- Build API endpoints, service classes, controllers, and reusable components for modular modernization.
- Participate in database migration workflows (Oracle → PostgreSQL), including code refactoring and validation steps.
- Work with designers/architects to modernize UI screens into Blazor while preserving functional parity.
- Develop microservices leveraging Azure capabilities like App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage.
- Implement containerized components using Docker and support deployment to Kubernetes/ACA (Azure Container Apps).
- Ensure implementations are cloud-agnostic and follow standard patterns defined in modernization guidelines.
- Work with DevOps engineers to integrate code with CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform) deployment workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, performance tuning, and debugging across service layers.
- Collaborate with architects, DB migration leads, and testers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to evolution of backlog (Release, Sprint, MVP)
- Create, evolve and document technical architecture of the application
- Define System integration design from project's application side, collaborate with other application teams in defining and documenting interface specification
- Define, implement, evolve technical standards of the application; implement tools and technical processes for periodic measurement of technical quality
- Define and implement technical review process; owns and responsible for technical aspects of the application
- Collaborate with Infra and cloud engineers in defining and implementing various environments: Dev, Test/QA, UAT, Prod.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft technologies with a strong background in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core
- Blazor for UI modernization (explicitly referenced as target UI in modernization docs)
- Exposure to AI-assisted modernization tools and pattern mining.
- Experience converting:
WinForms/C++ modules → C#/.NET Core

- Understanding of multi-tier architectures and decomposition of monolithic systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and extend Optimizely CMS functionalities for enterprise content management and delivery solutions.
- Implement headless and decoupled solutions using Optimizely Content Delivery APIs.
- Integrate Optimizely with third-party services, APIs, authentication providers, and analytics platforms.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality improvements in alignment with DevOps standards.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimisation for Optimizely sites and applications.
- Collaborate with architects, UI developers, content authors, and QA teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Maintain documentation of implementations, configurations, and integration patterns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in web development with .NET or similar enterprise platforms.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on development experience with Optimizely CMS and CMP.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Optimizely APIs for building and extending CMS solutions.
- Experience implementing headless solutions using Content APIs and consuming them via modern front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and cloud deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of content modelling, templating, and personalization features in Optimizely.
- Should be willing to work in Maintenance projects.
Preferred Skills
- Optimizely Developer Certification.
- Exposure to React.js, Next.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks for headless implementations.
