• Generate, support, and improve narrative designs for gameplay features and modes.
• Maintain narrative quality in an evolving AAA studio environment.

Who You Are

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have 8+ years of experience in AAA narrative, having shipped multiple titles, at least some of which as a Lead.
• Have shipped at least one multiplayer, co-op, and/or live service game.
• Have a background and/or had training in dramatic writing and story structure.
• Have experience with all aspects of the story design process, including ideation, writing, revision, editing, responding to multiple sources of feedback, and self-critique.
• Possess extensive knowledge of stories and narrative design in many game genres.
• Can share a portfolio of game narrative work upon request.

About the Role

In this role, you will design and deliver multi-petabyte storage systems purpose-built for the world’s largest AI training and inference workloads. You’ll architect high-performance parallel filesystems and object stores, evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies such as WekaFS, Ceph, and Lustre, and drive aggressive cost optimization-routinely achieving 30-50% savings through intelligent tiering, lifecycle policies, capacity forecasting, and right-sizing. 

You will also build Kubernetes-native storage operators and self-service platforms that provide automated provisioning, strict multi-tenancy, performance isolation, and quota enforcement at cluster scale. Day-to-day, you’ll optimize end-to-end data paths for 10-50 GB/s per node, design multi-tier caching architectures, implement intelligent prefetching and model-weight distribution, and tune parallel filesystems for AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-petabyte AI/ML storage systems; integrate WekaFS, Ceph, etc.; lead capacity planning and cost optimization (30-50% savings via tiering, lifecycle policies, right-sizing).
• Design/optimize RDMA, InfiniBand, 400GbE networks; tune for max throughput/min latency; implement NVMe-oF/iSCSI; troubleshoot bottlenecks; optimize TCP/IP for storage.

• Build multi-tier caches (local NVMe, distributed, object); optimize data locality and model-weight distribution; implement smart prefetching/eviction.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, SLOs; design DR/backups with runbooks; run chaos engineering; ensure 99.9%+ uptime via proactive/automated remediation.
• Partner with ML/SRE teams; mentor on storage best practices; contribute to open-source; write docs, postmortems, and public learnings.

Requirements

• 8+ years in storage engineering with 3+ years managing distributed storage at multi-petabyte scale

• Proven track record deploying and operating high-performance storage for GPU/HPC clusters

• Deep Kubernetes and cloud-native storage experience in production environments

• Strong coding skills in Go and Python with demonstrated ability to build production-grade tools

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

• History of technical leadership: designing systems that significantly improved performance (>3x), reliability (99.9%+ uptime), or cost efficiency

• Distributed Storage Systems: Deep expertise in WekaFS, Lustre, GPFS, BeeGFS, or similar parallel filesystems at multi-petabyte scale

• Object Storage: Production experience with S3, MinIO, Ceph, or R2 including performance optimization and cost management

• Kubernetes Storage: CSI drivers, StatefulSets, PersistentVolumes, storage operators, and custom controllers

Job Summary: 

The Regional Financial Controller (Europe) acts as the financial leader for the European market. This role is responsible for financial governance, performance management, and strategic financial planning across the region.

The position reports to the VP Finance (Global) and with a dotted line to Regional GM (Europe), ensuring strong alignment between global financial standards and regional business execution.

This role combines hands-on financial control with forward-looking financial analytics, supporting scalable growth and long-term value creation in the EU market.

The Role 

The Purchasing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the day to day operation by liaising with the various (heads of) departments and suppliers. The Purchasing Coordinator ensure appropriate availability of food-, beverage- and other product at all times as well as ensuring one-off ad-hoc needs are met.

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for accurate tracking of logistics information (orders, receipts, invoices) in the ERP system and for the provision of reliable cost of sales information and reports from the system.

Key Accountabilities

Purchase to Pay

• • Review and raise orders with suppliers based on inputs from the various teams, current stock levels and ad-hoc requests;
  • Maintain contacts with key suppliers and ensure compliance with contracts in place;
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues or one-off ad hoc needs from the teams;
  • Ensure records in the ERP system (Adaco) remain up-to-date in regards of orders, deliveries and invoices as well as standing data (products, suppliers, recipes);
  • Manage a team of two goods receivers and support them to run a smooth internal logistic operation;

Inventory & Cost Control 

• • Support the goods receivers and various teams with their periodic inventory count;
  • With the heads of department, review and analyse outcomes from stock take and follow-up as appropriate;
  • Together with heads of departments, regularly assess set PAR levels and update as appropriate reflecting menu changes and seasonal pattern;
  • Support the finance team on cost control and provide weekly cost of sales reports;

Team Management

• • Manage a team of 2 goods receivers including rota’s, health and safety on the job, people development as well as day to day setting of priorities and ensure all tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner;
  • This role reports into the on-site financial controller and works closely with heads of department including but not limited to chefs, restaurant- / floor managers, bar manager, housekeeping manager, and the maintenance manager;

Working Place & Hours

• • This is a full-time job (38 hours), fully carried out on site in the Soho House in Amsterdam;
  • Typical working hours would be from Monday to Friday between 9:00 – 17:00, occasionally and in line with business needs this may require some flexibility;
