Anduril’s Rocket Motor Systems group is seeking a Program Quality Engineer to join our team in McHenry Mississippi. The Rocket Motor Systems team designs, develops, and manufactures next-generation solid rocket motors for defense and space applications at Anduril.
As a Sr. Program Quality Engineer, you will work inside and outside the organization to define and execute processes that deliver reliable products. The right person for this role has expert knowledge of manufacturing, quality assurance, and quality planning, with drive for continuous improvement. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the implementation and management of specific customer quality flow down requirements throughout the contract lifecycle, including supplier flow down.
- Lead the creation of Program Quality Plans to support administration of customer and internal quality requirements to Anduril program teams and supply base.
- Lead the development of Product Control Plans (PCP) and Inspection Plans (IP) to support program-specific requirements.
- Support supplier, customer, and internal audit activities.
- Support cross-functional team using structured problem-solving Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies to identify Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) and drive continuous improvement.
- Support program-specific nonconformance management and material review board (MRB) activities.
- Support, conduct, and/or monitor product and process assessments.
- Support the review and administration of customer deliverable data package content to ensure As-Built Configuration List (ABCL) and other contract deliverable requirements are met.
- Support Qualification Testing and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
- Support supply base capability and risk assessments and monitoring supplier performance.
- Support Engineering Change Control Board (CCB) activities.
- Interface with program management, customers, suppliers, cross-functional leadership, and, when applicable, government representatives and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
- Provide Quality and technical support for development of production readiness information, including component verification, test article acceptance testing surveillance, control of nonconforming material life cycle, utilizing measures and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide quality inputs to support internal and external program reviews.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing), Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering, with a significant portion in a Program Quality or Supplier Quality role within the aerospace, defense, automotive, or other highly regulated hardware development and manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and implementing industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001) and customer-specific flow-down requirements.
- Strong proficiency in quality tools and methodologies including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA), Nonconformance management, FAI (AS9102), GD&T, Control Plans, and Inspection Plans.
- Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) or equivalent qualification methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization and with external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead, drive initiatives autonomously, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be able to obtain a Federal Explosives License through the BATFE.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline or 7+ years of quality engineering experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Lean Six Sigma Green (LSSGB) or Black Belt (LSSBB), Project Management Professional (PMP), AS9100 Certified Lead Auditor).
- Direct experience interfacing with government representatives such as DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) Quality Assurance Representatives.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle) and PLM software.
- Experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and advanced statistical analysis.
- Experience creating quality plans, product control plans (PCP), and inspection plans (IP) from internal and external requirements.

Job Overview
The Electrical Engineer 2 will support designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components across multiple R&D efforts and production lines. This key player will combine technical expertise and problem-solving skills to design, implement, and maintain a broad range of electrical systems in various domains including embedded systems (simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, firmware development), power electronics, radio frequency (RF) devices and antennas, battery and associated management systems.
Essential Functions
- Design, develop and test electrical systems and equipment for military, industrial, commercial, and consumer use related to Unmanned Systems (UAVs, UGVs, USVs) of various types.
- Support the development and maintenance of electrical system documentation including wiring diagrams and schematics through an organized release process utilizing modern distributed version control technologies such as GIT.
- Assist with the design, test, and review new and existing PCB designs.
- Analyze and interpret technical data, such as specifications, blueprints, and schematics, to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Familiarity with military standards related to reliability and safety is preferred.
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and clients to identify and resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
- Support the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide technical support to production staff as needed
- Develop and implement automated programming and testing apparatuses to aid in production and quality assurance of circuit boards and subassemblies.
- Support rapid prototyping, system bring-up, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
- Contribute to internal R&D efforts and aid in the transition of these efforts into production
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS or CST Microwave Studio is beneficial.
- Limited MCAD skills with Autodesk Fusion360 and/or SolidWorks are beneficial.
- Knowledge of common industry protocols (LVDS, I2C, HDMI, UART, SPI, CAN, USB, MIPI)
- Familiarity with battery-powered Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and associated avionics and electronics such as IMUs, AHRS, BLDC motors, etc...
- Knowledge of embedded processors such as ARM, and basic embedded programming skills therein with C/C++
- Knowledge of test and debug abilities with common lab equipment including DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, etc...

Program Summary
Exiger is seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to expert guidance, direction, and organize the delivery of solutions and scale delivery of advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities supporting Army sustainment and supply chain risk management programs. This role drives the end-to-end execution of data-driven solutions—including AI/LLMs, data pipelines, and risk models—that enhance visibility, resilience, and readiness across the defense industrial base.
The Lead Forward Deployed Engineer will operate at the intersection of program leadership, data engineering, and sustainment operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and Army stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable, technically sound analytics workflows that directly inform risk mitigation and acquisition decisions across Army portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers developing for analytics and AI-driven solutions supporting Army sustainment, acquisition, and supply chain risk management missions.
- Direct the development and deployment of databases, data pipelines, risk models, mitigation strategies, and analytic workflows to identify and mitigate systemic supply chain vulnerabilities.
- Drive program execution by defining technical methodologies, prioritizing development milestones, and managing delivery of mission-ready analytical capabilities.
- Translate complex sustainment and acquisition requirements into actionable tasks for engineering and data science teams.
- Oversee QA/QC for data and model outputs, ensuring results are technically valid, reproducible, and operationally relevant to Army decision-makers.
- Provide technical oversight of analytics integration into sustainment workflows, ensuring compliance with Army policy and information assurance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineers, product research analysts, and industrial base experts—to deliver measurable mission impact.
- Facilitate coordination between technical teams, program leadership, and Army stakeholders, ensuring program transparency, accountability, and timely reporting.
Qualifications – Required
- 10+ years of experience in front-end, back-end, or full-stack software development leading data analytics, AI/ML, or risk management programs for federal or defense customers.
- Proven record of managing AI- and data-driven programs supporting defense sustainment, logistics, or acquisition missions.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python, including hands-on experience with data manipulation, validation, and analytics (e.g., pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries).
- Strong SQL skills, capable of writing and optimizing queries for large, complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake for querying, data validation, and analytics — active Snowflake user strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration in support of large-scale analytics environments.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge technical development and mission objectives, ensuring solutions are both feasible and impactful.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Qualifications – Preferred
- Prior experience in software development and artificial intelligence.
- Familiarity with supply chain risk management, industrial base analysis, or production sustainment data
- Experience working with AI/LLM development workflows, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model evaluation.
- Proven experience validating analytics outputs and data transformations within cloud data environments.
- Background in or exposure to mechanical, industrial, or systems engineering concepts as they relate to manufacturing feasibility and readiness analysis.
