As the Director of Brand Strategy at Monks, you will guide the agency’s brand vision and champion brand-building initiatives that inspire multidisciplinary teams. You will craft strategic Brand platforms that shape brand narratives and drive cultural relevance, positioning Monks as a leader in brand innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft Brand Platforms: Develop brand architectures and outstanding concepts that differentiate brands and inspire creative expression.
- Lead Brand Culture: Mentor strategists, instilling a brand-centric mindset that fuels creative storytelling and business impact.
- Shape Client Perceptions: Build lasting client relationships by transforming insights into brand-building strategies with measurable outcomes.
- Inspire Across Teams: Collaborate with creative, media, and production units to ensure brand integrity throughout every campaign.
- Uncover Brand Opportunities: Utilize market analysis and cultural insights to inform strategic recommendations and identify white spaces.
- Measure Brand Impact: Set KPIs to evaluate how strategies contribute to brand equity and business growth.
- Champion Thought Leadership: Represent Monks at industry events, positioning the agency as an expert in brand building and differentiation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leading brand strategy with a strong portfolio of brand-building achievements.
- Proven ability to craft brand architectures, positioning frameworks, and breakthrough concepts.
- Strong leadership with a history of developing high-performing brand strategists.
- Analytical skills to synthesize data into brand insights and actionable strategies.
- Outstanding communication skills for presenting compelling brand stories.
- A passion for culture, creativity, and brand differentiation.
