We're hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to partner directly with Ford's hiring leaders and own the technical hiring pipeline for engineering, manufacturing, and operations roles across the Glendale site.

About the Role

You'll serve as Ford's strategic talent advisor on the ground — identifying, attracting, and hiring top technical talent across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate brings deep technical recruiting expertise, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, greenfield environment where hiring velocity directly determines production timelines.

What You'll Do

Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting

  • Recruit for Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Controls & Automation, Quality, Industrial, and Software/Systems Engineering roles
  • Recruit for Program and Project Management positions across the site
  • Conduct technical and behavioral assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural alignment
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for both active and passive talent

Strategic Talent Partnership

  • Partner with Ford hiring managers to understand business objectives, workforce plans, and hiring priorities
  • Lead intake meetings and provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive landscapes
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process — influence decisions through data-driven insights

Talent Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill technical positions
  • Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and targeted sourcing campaigns
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, professional associations, and industry events

Stakeholder & Candidate Management

  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience from outreach through onboarding
  • Facilitate interview scheduling, feedback collection, offer negotiations, and closing
  • Maintain regular communication with hiring leaders on pipeline health and hiring risks

Recruiting Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records in ATS and CRM systems
  • Track time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, offer acceptance rates
  • Support workforce planning and hiring forecast initiatives

What We Need to See

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on technical and engineering recruiting
  • Recruiting experience in engineering, manufacturing, energy, industrial, automotive, or technology sectors
  • Proven success sourcing and hiring passive technical talent
  • Strong understanding of technical skill sets and engineering disciplines
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior business leaders
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with ATS, CRM, and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, etc.)

Bonus Points

  • Direct experience supporting manufacturing facilities, energy/battery, or industrial operations
  • Recruiting for greenfield sites or high-growth ramps
  • Background supporting hourly, professional, and leadership-level hiring on the same team
  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing labor market trends

  • Engagement: Salaried full-time position with Sustainable Talent dedicated to Ford
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with employer match; paid time off; sick leave; holiday pay; and access to the Sustainable Talent employee assistance program.
