The Social Media Manager, Senior Pastor's Office is primarily responsible for managing the Senior Pastor's social media accounts across various platforms. The manager will lead the team to effectively engage people and lead them to their next step towards Christ. They will take a lead role in developing and implementing the social media strategy for the Senior Pastor's platforms to increase engagement and visibility of content.
This role supports the team's direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.
What You'll Do
Lead Social Media Content Development
Manage Craig Groeschel’s social media accounts on various platforms.
Develop and implement a focused social media strategy to increase traffic and visibility of Craig Groeschel’s accounts.
Manage Craig Groeschel's social media accounts on various platforms.
Create social media captions and blurbs for Craig Groeschel’s social media accounts.
Craft highly engaging written and visual content, collaborating with the Social Media Designer on visualizations.
Select sermon quotes and video clips for social media posts that align with the communication strategy.
Provide input and leadership on marketing strategy for Craig Groeschel book releases.
Attend Craig Groeschel speaking engagements and provide social media support during events.
Drive the Senior Pastor's Social Media Strategy
Develop and manage the weekly content schedule for Craig Groeschel’s social media platforms.
Define goals and KPIs for Craig Groeschel’s social media platforms.
Develop content themes and campaigns specific to Craig Groeschel.
Ensure brand consistency across all of Craig Groeschel’s social media platforms.
Identify and measure key performance metrics to determine the success of efforts. Report on these monthly and explain ebbs, flows, and future predictions
Monitor social media trends, adapt strategies accordingly, and quickly apply to Craig Groeschel’s social media.
Collaborate with Craig Groeschel’s support team on strategy and execution.
Provide Team Leadership and Support Team Operations
Coach, develop, and train interns.
Coordinate with creative teams for content production as needed.
Review and approve social media design elements.
Attend weekly sermon prep meetings.
Collaborate with the CTL of Social Media to ensure alignment with Life.Church’s overall communications strategy.
Skills Needed to Succeed
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.
Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and problem solve.
Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.
Strong analytical skills to analyze performance metrics and develop effective strategies.
High School Diploma or GED.
1-3 years of related social media, content or marketing experience.
Social media campaign development and management experience.
