About this SHE Administrator role at Rentokil Initial
Entry level position within Safety (would suit strong administrator looking for the opportunity to progress towards a Career in Safety)
Melbourne based opportunity for SHE (Safety Health & Environment) Administrator to join the team in an administrative support role.
Rentokil Initial is one of the largest business services companies in the world with three leading brands in Australia. This role is integral in achieving a continuous improvement culture throughout our Rentokil Pest Control, Initial Hygiene and Ambius Indoor Plants businesses.
Passionate and committed to the highest of standards in Safety, Health and Environment, you will support our SHE Manager in driving best practice in line with the regional SHE strategic plan.
Working alongside SHE Business Partners you will play a critical role by supporting the business locations with Health, Safety, Environment and Workers Compensation administration.
Duties will include:
- Reviewing and verifying incidents and actioning as needed
- Refreshing and maintaining SHE policies, procedural guidelines, and standard documentation
- Designing and developing instructional content for SHE training programs
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to draft, review, and update Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to maintain legislative compliance
- Managing incoming email correspondence and inbox communications
- Prepare data analysis and regular reporting on compliance documentation to provide visibility into SHE performance.
- Drafting professional presentation slide decks for diverse stakeholder groups
- Uploading and organising official documentation and updates on the corporate Intranet
- Providing ad hoc assistance with general administrative duties
- Contributing to special projects and initiatives on an as-needed basis
To ensure your success in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- 1-2 years' experience within a similar role (desirable)
- A certificate / qualification in SHE (preferable by not essential)
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft office systems, excel, google mail, slides and google drive
The successful candidate must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen as well as background checks.
