The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide technical leadership and engineering support for complex industrial projects, including facility upgrades, expansions, and brownfield initiatives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering activities for industrial, utility, and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review electrical engineering deliverables, including specifications, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout project execution, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Support electrical system design, modifications, upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, vendors, operations, and maintenance personnel.
- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Provide technical problem-solving and support for operating facilities and project teams.
Requirements
- P.Eng. designation required or eligible for registration in Saskatchewan.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experince.
- Strong experience within utility, heavy industrial, or operating facility environments.
- Brownfield project experience considered a strong asset.
- Experience supporting commissioning and operational facilities preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
