About this Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Contract) role at Shiftmove
Across Europe, fleets are under enormous pressure. Fuel costs are rising. Regulatory requirements are tightening. The shift to low-emission vehicles is accelerating. And yet around 70% of European businesses still manage their fleets manually, with spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and processes that were never built for this moment. Shiftmove exists to make this simple.
We are a profitable B2B SaaS company and the fastest-growing fleet management platform in Europe, born from the merger of Avrios and Vimcar, and now serving tens of thousands of corporate customers across Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and beyond. Most recently, we acquired Optimum and Ocean in France, expanding our footprint and doubling down on one of Europe's largest fleet markets. Our AI-powered platform connects real-time vehicle data with intelligent software so that businesses can procure smarter, control costs, stay compliant, and lead the transition to cleaner mobility, all from one place.
About the role:
We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team on an initial three-month contract.
You'll work across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance, delivering high-impact reporting, supporting acquisition integrations, and helping build the next generation of our commercial data platform.
This is not a traditional reporting role. We're looking for not only someone who can quickly become a trusted delivery partner for Revenue Operations, independently leading complex analytics projects from requirements through to production, but also someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, works with minimal direction, and takes ownership for delivering complete, high-quality solutions.
What you'll do:
- Project Leadership: Lead complex Business Intelligence projects from discovery through delivery with minimal supervision.
- Tableau Dashboards: Design, build, and optimise dashboards used by senior leadership and Revenue Operations.
- Snowflake Modeling: Develop and maintain high-quality SQL models within Snowflake.
- Executive Reporting: Work closely with Revenue Operations to deliver reporting across pipeline, bookings, ARR, CARR, churn, expansion, forecasting, and sales performance.
- M&A Integration: Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into Shiftmove's GTM reporting ecosystem, ensuring data is accurately mapped into our existing Snowflake and Tableau environment.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with Salesforce administrators and business stakeholders to ensure reporting accurately reflects commercial processes.
- Data Quality Assurance: Validate business rules, investigate data discrepancies, and maintain trusted reporting.
- Documentation: Document data models, business logic, and reporting standards to ensure long-term maintainability.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and self-service capabilities.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first three months you will have:
- Successfully delivered one or more strategic GTM reporting initiatives.
- Become a trusted analytics partner to the Revenue Operations team.
- Supported the integration of acquisition data into our reporting environment.
- Improved the quality, performance or maintainability of existing Tableau reporting.
- Reduced manual reporting effort through automation and process improvements.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Professional Experience: Multiple years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics roles.
- SaaS Analytics: Strong commercial analytics experience within a SaaS business.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Support: Demonstrated experience supporting Go-to-Market organisations, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations.
- Tableau Expertise: Expert-level Tableau development.
- Advanced SQL & Snowflake: Advanced SQL skills with experience working in Snowflake.
- Salesforce & Data Models: Strong understanding of Salesforce reporting and commercial data models.
- Executive Reporting: Experience delivering executive reporting for sales performance, pipeline, forecasting, renewals, churn, and expansion.
- Stakeholder Management: Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and translating business questions into analytical solutions.
- Project Ownership: Able to independently own projects from initial requirements through to successful delivery.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail.
- Languages: English C1
