Role Overview:
As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Anti-scam 2B team, you will be the primary technical driver across two product lines:
- Brand Protection & Threat Detection Platform: Delivering real-time scam monitoring, alerting, and risk intelligence capabilities to enterprise clients
- Scam Intelligence API Platform: Enabling enterprise partners and OEM clients to embed Gogolook's detection capabilities into their own products at scale
This is not a maintenance role. You'll co-own architecture decisions, lead feature delivery end-to-end, and work directly with Product and cross-functional partners to shape how enterprise clients interact with Gogolook's fraud prevention ecosystem.
What you'll work on:
In the next 6 months, you'll be tackling: scaling crawling and data extraction pipelines to support new detection scenarios, redesigning high-throughput API services for greater scalability, and exploring innovative applications of AI/LLM technologies — including agent-based architectures — within our risk detection workflows to improve overall detection effectiveness.
