About this SDR Intern - South Africa role at EngageTech
- Make outbound calls and send emails to senior decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, VPs) at enterprise technology companies
- Research target accounts and identify the right people to contact
- Learn to craft compelling outreach messaging that gets responses
- Book qualified meetings for our clients' sales teams
- Handle objections and build confidence in live conversations
- Track activity and pipeline in CRM tools
- Hit daily and weekly activity targets
- Participate in team coaching sessions, role-plays, and development workshops
Requirements
- Final-year university student or recent graduate, or someone that hasn't made up their mind if university is for them
- Based in Cape Town or willing to relocate - this is a full-time, in-office role
- Eligible to work in South Africa
- Confident communicator - comfortable speaking to people you don't know
- Hungry to learn and open to coaching
- Resilient - you won't take rejection personally
- Reliable and able to commit to a 3-month paid internship program
