Interpath is an international and fast-growing advisory business with deep expertise in a broad range of specialisms spanning deals, advisory and restructuring.

We deliver tangible results for global businesses, their investors, and stakeholders when complex problems arise, and critical decisions need to be made. Interpath is agile, independent, and conflict-free, and our passion for doing what’s right, every time, sets us apart.

Our diverse teams provide specialist technical knowledge combined with deep sector experience across our service line specialisms. Since our foundation in 2021, Interpath has grown rapidly, and we now have a presence across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, BVI, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Barbados, Hong Kong, Singapore, India and South Africa. By 2030 we aim to be one of the world’s leading advisory firms with a truly global footprint.

Our Corporate Simplification team specialises in Members’ Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs) and has helped to successfully prepare for and implement the elimination of thousands of entities, both on a standalone basis and working alongside tax, legal and accounting specialists as part of broader group reorganisation/Legal Entity Rationalisation (LER) projects.

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our UK team. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid way, combining home and office working with in‑person client and business‑development meetings at external locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our market leading team, within a successful and growing international business.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management group/senior staff and delegating to junior team members where appropriate.
  • Onboarding clients and assisting with engagement acceptance procedures.
  • Delivering advisory work across closure management, pre-liquidation planning and due diligence, working collaboratively with other team members to support and assist clients.
  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of MVLs from appointment to closure, including realising assets, handling creditor claims, and ensuring statutory compliance/case progression in line with agreed timetables and budgets.
  • Assisting with company research, business development initiatives and other related ad hoc tasks, whilst establishing/growing a professional network.

Requirements

Education and Experience Required:

  • Understanding of the MVL process and relevant insolvency legislation across England/Wales and Scotland, with experience preparing entities for closure and overseeing a portfolio of insolvencies and/or MVLs.
  • Highly organised self-starter with strong time management skills, flexibility of thinking and the ability to stay focussed handling multiple priorities/shifting deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Committed, proactive and enthusiastic team player, while equally effective working independently.
  • Experience delegating to junior staff/providing on-job training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A university degree and CPI/accountancy qualification are preferred.

Values

Our four core values are the cornerstones of culture at Interpath and steer everything from everyday decisions to larger strategic initiatives. Our Interpath Values are;
Do the right thing - Our comfort zone is uncomfortable. We always make the right decision, not simply what is easy or popular.
All hands on deck - stand shoulder-to-shoulder with colleagues and clients, be that physically or from afar. Our individual expertise may find the answers, but implementation happens though teamwork.
Passion drives success  - The impossible is always possible. We push the boundaries of what is expected because we're never satisfied with the status quo. Our clients expect the right result when they engage with us, and it's only by delivering this that we win.
Embrace different - cultures to mindsets, we welcome all. We believe that people are equal, but not the same.

Unsolicited Resumes from Third-Party Recruiters
