Your Opportunity
Scion is paving the path in student living and is seeking a talented Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will drive high-volume, full cycle recruiting across multiple locations within an assigned geographic territory, with a focus on property operation roles. The Recruiter will directly source candidates, build and maintain strong talent pipelines, guide hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, and ensure a world-class candidate experience.
Our ideal candidate is an articulate professional and excels in a fast-paced, agile, corporate environment. This role demands strong administrative skills, unwavering follow through, excellent critical thinking, and the ability to independently manage a high-volume requisition load across multiple markets. This is an in-office opportunity, based at our Chicago headquarters.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume, multi-site commercial real estate roles (property managers, leasing agents, maintenance techs, maintenance managers, facilities managers, regional operations staff, etc.)
- Conduct interview and pre-screens for onsite management and field operations positions across multiple locations within an assigned geographic territory and guide hiring managers and candidates through the interview process through offer extension, ensuring a timely and positive experience.
- Source and build proactive talent pipelines for recurring/hard-to-fill roles ahead of need
- Post, manage, and optimize job ads across Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards
- Screen resumes and conduct phone/video screens to assess qualifications and culture fit
- Partner with hiring managers across multiple properties/regions to understand hiring needs and set intake expectations
- Manage candidate flow and requisitions in Greenhouse (ATS), keeping data clean and pipelines up to date
- Track and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline health, offer acceptance rate)
- Coordinate interviews, drive offer process and approvals, and manage candidate experience end-to-end
- Build talent communities/pipelines for recurring roles to reduce time-to-fill on future openings
- Stay current on the company’s organizational structure, personnel policies, and federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience (staffing agency, corporate, or in-house)
- Proven ability to source passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools
- Demonstrated experience building and managing candidate pipelines proactively (not just reactive req-filling)
- Strong organizational skills — comfortable juggling a high volume of requisitions and candidates simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with hiring managers across multiple locations
- Data-driven mindset; comfortable tracking and reporting on recruiting metrics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Greenhouse (or similar ATS)
- Experience recruiting for commercial real estate, property management, hospitality, retail, or similar multi-site industries
- Experience recruiting for facilities/maintenance roles specifically
- Experience building employer branding content for job boards/social recruiting
- Bachelor's degree preferred
