About this Communications Lead (KR) role at FuriosaAI
About the Role
Help shape the global voice of one of the world's most ambitious AI infrastructure companies.
From AI accelerators and networking to frontier foundation models and AI applications, you'll help explain one of the world's most sophisticated AI infrastructure platforms.
As FuriosaAI continues to scale globally, we expect Corporate Communications to evolve into an independent function working directly with executive leadership. This role is designed for someone who wants to help build—and ultimately lead—that organization.
Mission
FuriosaAI has spent the past several years relentlessly focused on building world-class AI infrastructure. With our second-generation AI accelerator, RNGD, now in mass production and expanding into enterprise and hyperscale deployments, we are entering a new phase of global growth.
We're looking for our first Corporate Communications Lead to help shape how FuriosaAI is understood by customers, developers, media, governments, investors, and the broader AI ecosystem.
This is an opportunity to build—not inherit—a communications organization. Working closely with our CEO, CTO, executive leadership, and our global communications and marketing teams, you'll help establish FuriosaAI as one of the world's leading AI infrastructure companies.
Key Responsibilities
Own and continuously evolve FuriosaAI's corporate narrative, positioning the company as a global leader in AI infrastructure.
Lead corporate communications and media relations in Korea while partnering with our US communications team on global announcements, product launches, executive thought leadership, and strategic partnerships.
Translate complex AI infrastructure technologies into compelling narratives that resonate with customers, developers, media, governments, investors, and the broader AI ecosystem.
Partner closely with the CEO, CTO, product, finance, and commercial teams on executive communications, strategic messaging, and major corporate initiatives.
Lead issues and crisis communications with sound judgment, ensuring disciplined, timely, and consistent messaging.
Build FuriosaAI's Corporate Communications function, including media relationships, communications processes, editorial standards, and scalable best practices.
Who We're Looking For
10+ years of relevant experience in PR, corporate communications, or tech journalism in Korea (Experience in the AI, hardware, or semiconductor domain is a strong plus).
Bilingual Proficiency: Native-level English for high-quality storytelling and media pitching, and strong business-level English to collaborate effectively with the US team and global stakeholders.
Genuine passion and insatiable curiosity for all things AI, especially the AI infrastructure technologies, and the drive to translate them into compelling narratives.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a rare ability to articulate highly complex technical ideas in a clear, concise, and captivating manner.
Strong proactivity, "startup DNA," and project management skills; ability to embrace ambiguity, take extreme ownership, and consistently deliver strong results without heavy top-down guidance.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders, from deep-tech engineers to top-tier media professionals.
What Success Looks Like
Position FuriosaAI among the world's leading AI infrastructure companies through compelling and credible communications.
Establish Corporate Communications as a trusted strategic partner to executive leadership.
Build and ultimately lead a world-class, independent Corporate Communications function.
