About this Planning and Logistics Operations Manager (all genders) role at Shiftmove
Across Europe, fleets are under enormous pressure. Fuel costs are rising. Regulatory requirements are tightening. The shift to low-emission vehicles is accelerating. And yet around 70% of European businesses still manage their fleets manually, with spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and processes that were never built for this moment. Shiftmove exists to make this simple.
We are a profitable B2B SaaS company and the fastest-growing fleet management platform in Europe, born from the merger of Avrios and Vimcar, and now serving tens of thousands of corporate customers across Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and beyond. Most recently, we acquired Optimum and Ocean in France, expanding our footprint and doubling down on one of Europe's largest fleet markets. Our AI-powered platform connects real-time vehicle data with intelligent software so that businesses can procure smarter, control costs, stay compliant, and lead the transition to cleaner mobility, all from one place.
About The Role
Following the integration of Ocean and Optimum Automotive into the Shiftmove Group, you are walking into a critical transformation phase for our French Operations organization. You will lead the design and implementation of a single, scalable operating model that supports growth, improves customer experience, and drives operational excellence across France. This is not an execution role for day-to-day scheduling or inventory; instead, you own the overarching operational framework behind the Planning and Logistics teams.
You will act as the core architect for our operational systems, serving as the Business Owner for Praxedo to ensure the platform evolves alongside our business needs. By building standardized processes, governance, and reporting, you will empower our Planning, Logistics, Customer Support, and Customer Success teams to operate as one fully integrated organization. Your success will be defined by the scalability and consistency of this new framework, laying the foundation for our next stage of rapid growth in the French market.
What You'll Do
- Operational Transformation: Design and implement a unified Planning & Logistics operating model across France, standardizing processes and leading all integration initiatives.
- Praxedo Business Ownership: Act as the Business Owner for Praxedo by defining the long-term roadmap, gathering requirements, and ensuring the platform supports standardized field operations.
- Hardware Operations Strategy: Define the operational framework governing the complete hardware lifecycle, from procurement and inventory control to reverse logistics and asset management.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Standardize workflows and operational handoffs between Planning, Logistics, Customer Support, and Customer Success to reduce friction and improve customer resolution times.
- Operational Governance & Performance: Develop comprehensive KPI frameworks, build executive reporting dashboards, and lead regular reviews to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and build scalable operational frameworks using Lean principles and data-driven decision-making to support future capacity.
What you'll need to succeed
- Operational Leadership: Proven and extensive experience designing and implementing operational processes at scale within a SaaS, IoT, telematics, or mobility business
- Systems Ownership: Meaningful experience owning operational systems and business platforms, ideally acting as a Business or Product Owner for tools like Praxedo, Salesforce, or ERPs
- Transformation Management: Proven experience leading cross-functional operational integration programs, particularly following mergers or acquisitions
- Analytical Capability: Strong ability to develop KPIs, build operational dashboards, and use data to drive lean continuous improvement initiatives
- Language Proficiency: Fluent French and professional English to effectively communicate and align stakeholders across our international teams
