The Role
You won't be sourcing partners or running co-sell. You won't be managing customer relationships or doing implementation work yourself. You'll be the person who makes implementation delivery consistent, whether delivered in-house or by an SI partner, and who ensures the partner program operates reliably once partners are in it.The operational work is the foundation. Over time, the person in this role will be a meaningful voice in how Abacum approaches the post-sale commercial model strategically
We're hiring for process instinct and operational rigor more than a specific background. Strong candidates will have spent meaningful time close to how implementation or partner programs actually run in practice: what it takes to build operating infrastructure that earns trust from the people using it, and what goes wrong when that infrastructure isn't there.
What You'll Own
Implementation operations: Own the delivery playbook, quality benchmarks, and tooling across both in-house and SI delivery. Define milestones, escalation protocols, and what a successful implementation looks like end-to-end.
Delivery model strategy: Build and maintain the decision framework for routing implementations. Make the criteria explicit, track how decisions play out, and refine based on outcomes.
Handoff design, sales to implementation: Own the transition from closed-won to implementation kickoff, including handoff standards, information transfer requirements, and escalation paths. Work closely with the RevOps Lead on the pre-sale side of this seam.
Handoff design, implementation to CS: Define what "done" means operationally and own the transition from implementation complete to CS. Ensure the handoff is reliable and carries the context CS needs to move forward.Work closely with the Customer Operations Lead.
Partner program operations: Design the process for partner onboarding, enablement, and certification once partners are in the program: training, tiering, playbooks, tooling access. Manage attribution tracking in SFDC, rules of engagement, and advise on QBR structure.
Time-to-value tracking: Define TTV benchmarks and own reporting against them, surfacing where implementations slow down and where performance diverges.
How You'll Work
This role sits inside the Strategy & Operations function and has a remit that cuts across implementation, partnerships, sales, and CS. You'll be embedded in those teams: attending stand-ups without running them, building routing frameworks with implementation leadership rather than for them, designing quality benchmarks in close collaboration with the people doing the work.
You'll have genuine scope to define what good looks like. The influence will come from what you build and the trust you earn, not from org chart authority. A process nobody uses is worse than no process at all, and the people you're working with will know the difference.
What We're Looking For
We're not hiring for a single background. Strong candidates might come from professional services operations, implementation ops at a B2B SaaS company, partner operations, or RevOps with meaningful implementation exposure. What matters is the combination of operational rigor, process instinct, and enough proximity to implementation and partner programs to understand what they actually need.
Specifically:
5+ years of professional experience with genuine proximity to how implementation or partner programs run: what it takes to build operating infrastructure that holds up under real conditions.
Systems-minded and process-oriented. Comfortable owning tooling decisions, building reporting infrastructure, and designing frameworks that scale.
Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day ops work: automating workflows, accelerating analysis, building reporting infrastructure faster than the traditional approach. You see AI as a lever, not a novelty.
A track record of building process and structure where it didn't fully exist. Not waiting for someone else to define the playbook, and not building processes that look good on paper but don't get used.
Comfortable working across functions without formal authority and knowing how to influence without overstepping.
Fintech, FP&A, or finance-adjacent SaaS experience is a meaningful plus.
Why Take It
Implementation and partner delivery at Abacum is a growing, consequential motion. This role is the person who builds the operating infrastructure behind it: defining the playbook, setting the standards, and making delivery work consistently across channels.
The scope is meaningful and the people you'd be working with are good. For the right person, this is the moment to step into work you've been building toward. As the function matures, the infrastructure you build creates a natural path toward the strategic layer of the work.
