Part Time Nanny – Austin, TX 

A family in Austin, TX 78739 is seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive part-time house helper and nanny. Both parents work full-time and are looking for a reliable individual to support them during the busy after-school and evening hours, helping to ensure a smooth dinnertime and bedtime routine for their three children (ages 6 months, 3 years, and 9 years). 

Schedule:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (flexibility is appreciated)
• Potential for occasional additional hours for date nights, parent work travel, and extra family support

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• Pet-free home
• Perks: Off-street parking available in the driveway, and free snacks provided during your shift

Responsibilities:

• Pick up children from school (conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the family home)
• Prepare and assist with family dinnertime
• Guide children through their evening and bedtime routines (6-month-old, 3-year-old, and 9-year-old)
• Pack school lunches for the following day
• Perform light household cleaning and tidying related to the evening routine

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the family’s home in Austin
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Trustworthy, highly reliable, and capable of managing multiple children of different age groups

Preferred:

• 5 to 10 years of professional childcare or family assistant experience (the family is open to adjusting this for the right candidate)

Compensation:

• $23–$26 per hour (commensurate with experience)
