Part Time Caregiver – Sacramento, CA

A family in Sacramento, CA 95822 is seeking an experienced, compassionate caregiver for their bed-bound elderly mother.

Schedule:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
• *Potential weekend availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, as needed.

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• 1 small Maltipoo

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal hygiene and incontinence care, including bed baths and brief/diaper changes
• Safely assist with repositioning and turning in bed
• Assist with feeding and mealtime support
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Provide medication reminders

Requirements:

• Prior caregiving experience required
• Experience caring for individuals with limited mobility, including safe turning, repositioning, and transfers.
• Must be able to reliably commute

Preferred:

• First Aid/CPR certified

Compensation:

• $25 -$30 an hour DOE
