Manufacturing Project Coordinator

Position Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Project Coordinator to help manage configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship projects from order release through final delivery. This role works closely with production, engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, and customer support teams to keep projects on schedule, maintain accurate records, and ensure customer requirements are met.

Responsibilities
Coordinate configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship orders throughout the entire order lifecycle, from order entry to shipment and project completion.
Review incoming sales orders to verify accuracy, completeness, and product configuration details.
Monitor project milestones, including material availability, production progress, quality inspections, testing, and shipping schedules.
Maintain accurate order information using ERP systems and project tracking software.
Communicate daily with production, engineering, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams to keep projects on track.
Provide customers with order status updates and proactively communicate schedule changes or delays.
Identify orders that may be at risk of missing delivery commitments and escalate issues for resolution.
Support shipping coordination, logistics activities, and customer-specific documentation requirements.
Prepare internal reports and customer-facing project status updates.
Participate in process improvement initiatives related to scheduling, order management, and project tracking.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
One to three years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer service, inside sales support, or manufacturing operations.
Experience working with ERP systems and project management or order tracking software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow projects through completion.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing.
Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO), make-to-order (MTO), or similar manufacturing processes.
Exposure to power distribution equipment or other industrial products.
Experience coordinating logistics and shipments for manufactured products.
CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management certification.
