This role is hybrid in Mexico City (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at our offices in Reforma.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer – Privilege Manager, you will lead the test strategy and validation of the Privilege Manager Server and its Windows and macOS Agents. The Server delivers application control and enforces least privilege through policy-based access management, with the Agents extending these capabilities to endpoints. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive test plans across server and agent components, conduct in-depth analysis of customer-reported issues, drive root cause resolution, and ensure the quality and reliability of new features from design through release.
What You’ll Do:
· Develop and execute test plans for new features and bug fixes for the Privilege Manager Server and Windows/macOS Agents.
· Perform manual testing, including exploratory, regression, and user acceptance testing.
· Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback throughout the software development lifecycle.
· Identify, document, and track software defects in a clear and concise manner.
· Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the platform can handle expected user traffic.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and tools.
· Work with technical writers and developers to complete product documentation tasks when necessary.
· Actively contribute as a member of an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint ceremonies, planning, and retrospectives.
What You’ll Need:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· Experience building and maintaining Windows and macOS environments for testing purposes.
· Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Server\Agent applications.
· Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
· Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
· Strong communication (verbal and written) and teamwork abilities.
· Proficient with issue tracking tools, such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
We’d Love to See:
· Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, JavaScript, Typescript, Java, C#).
· Familiarity with ServiceNow, SAML, Syslog providers, Entra ID, PowerShell, SQL.
· Experience with performance testing (e.g., k6, Apache JMeter).
· Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.
· Experience with Hyper-V building and maintaining Virtual Machines
· Any experience with automated testing including designing, writing and maintaining automated test scripts using BDD frameworks such as Cucumber with Gherkin and translating business scenarios into executable tests.
