About this Logistique business Support role at Assala Energy

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented logistics assistant to join our team. The logistics analyst plays a key role in supervising, monitoring and improving the organisation of logistics services and managing costs (junior level) within the company, through an in-depth analysis of the past and current performance of these services. The successful candidate will provide operational support to department managers, across all logistics activities (land, sea, air and travel), as well as transit operations, and to the supply chain manager.
Key responsibilities
- ensure Logistics cost are well booked on time in each Assets and corporate according to activities
- Fuel management and invoices treatment are well shared to each WBS/CC by section but also Capex.
- Supply Chain SAP Workflow management for all asset activities belonging to Logistics Land, Marine, Aviation and travel, Freight forwarding-C&P
- Create and Monitor PO for activities over the years according to budget
- Follow up with contract Rep/contract analyst the Spend of contract under the section.
- Review each workstream to ensure proper and accurate collection of data from the sites
- Assess and continuously improve the tools for better efficiency.
- Develop fit for purpose KPI’s for each activity/logistics service.
- Conduct performance session with contractor and Assala contract representatives. Track the actions and update.
- Collect, Capture, measure and verify the data required by shareholders and stakeholders, via Assala Finances, and report to the relevant parties.
- invoice processing, creating and managing purchase orders, creating logistics service orders, freight and customs formalities, contracts and procurement, as well as cost analysis
- the role has been held by a single person for the past three years. As all activities continue, the supply chain must provide a high level of support to operations.
- Develop and implement smart tools for reporting related to fuel. Share the highlights/lowlights with relevant parties.
- Support Audit requests (internal and external) and investigations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in a position of Supervisor in Oil and Gas industry
- Internal Controls and Audit Support
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Management/Finances
- Sound experience in Oil and Gas industry.
